Why doesn't Black Lives Matter ever protest the weekly killings of blacks in Chicago?

I would guess because no one is suggesting the killers should not be punished for their crime.

They do not care about their own. Democrats like to give deceitful names to things....spending bills, organizations, etc. If BLM actually did donate money to the black community instead of just buying nice houses and living in luxury the money would stop. What's funny to me is sharing the same ideological beliefs as corporations, the government, politicians, the justice system, big tech and every institution there is and believing that you're fighting the system. ************, Dems run every institution there is. If there is institutionalized racism you need to look at who's running the ************.
