Easy.  Done all the time.First, get a finance degree with honors from Duke University, NYU, Berkeley, MIT, Boston College, Univ of Texas at Austin or Carnegie Mellon.  Second, get recruited by some fatass, cigar smoking, old billionaire just like a pro ball player.  Third, take his $million dollar check when he hands it to you.  Nothing to it.

The historical compounded average annual growth rate of the stock market over the last 40 years including dividends is about 11%. If you invest $150 per month in a low-fee (0.04%) U.S. stock market mutual fund, like VFINX, and the stock market gives the same return, you will have about $1.3 million in 40 years. Single stocks are too risky; you could lose your whole investment.

Be born as Joe Biden's son.  Then you only have to invest in crack and hookers and you'll still be a multi-millionaire.

Start young with your very first paycheck.    Never underestimate the time-value of money.

Always pay yourself (your investments) first.  They are your number one bill.   If you can't invest something every single month, you're living above your means.
