Washed my paycheck?
I accidentally washed my paycheck. I left it in one of my work pants. This is the first time this has happened. I’ve been at this job for over 5 years.

Talk to your boss, explain to him what happened. Maybe they'll cancel the previous check and issue you another one.

It happens.
If it's still readable, take it into the bank.
If it's not, ask your employer for a replacement.
Maybe they can sign you up for auto deposit so you don't need to worry.

Ok, but what's your question?

Jorge, is it damaged or is it destroyed?
If it's damaged, is it still fully legible and in one piece? Do what you can to smooth it out, then take it to your bank for deposit. The teller may need the manager's approval to deposit it.
If it's in pieces, illegible, or destroyed, contact payroll and tell them what happened. Apologize for the trouble and ask if they can issue a replacement. After five years working there, it's not like you're a trouble maker who does this all the time, so they should be able to do it.
