Can Johnson and Johnson sue someone over this call to pause the distribution of its Covid vaccine?

    Yes, the FDA gets sued all the time.  But for J&J to be successful they would have to prove there is no valid reason for the FDA to pause distribution (of which the FDA already has presented publicly why).  Add the fact that the FDA has allowed the J&J vaccine to gain super speedy approval without usual safety protocols it would be a humungous error to do so because the FDA has precedent to halt the J&J vaccine for years.

    Anyone "can" sue for anything. However if the pause is within the scope of the regulatory agency's ability to regulate, it'll be quickly dismissed.

    I don't know much about it, but so far it looks like Biden is colluding with Pfizer to corner the market.

    I think Johnson and Johnson is more concerned with figuring out how their vaccine is linked to the reported blood clots before they are sued for the wrongful death of someone using their vaccine.
