Brown eggs are local eggs and local eggs are fresh.

I agree that eggs are eggs.  The nutritional factor can vary though.  Those "light colored" yolks are from the type of feed the chicken has eaten.  They still contain the same nutritional qualities, just at a lower level.

all eggs contain the same stuff , you pay for the colour only , free range eggs and battery grown eggs have exactly the same nutricianal value , just the yoke is lighter ..

    Seriously?

"cheap eggs" are NOT cheap to the farmers.

Cage-free and Free-range are completely different deals.

But I get your question, I think?

    What does this mean?

2 eggs from the same "cheap egg" carton had double yolks.

    You tell me?

    Eggs are eggs.

I have never eaten the expensive brand. All egg production, is under federal inspection. The standards are no different for poor chicken ranchers.

Some people think brown eggs taste better, that's all. I don't see any difference.

If they are in the grocery, they are inspected and safe. Farmer's markets, know your producer.

I buy a local brand of pasture raised eggs because I think they taste better and I'm only buying for 2 of us.

All the eggs available in a well run supermarket are safe.

Also, eggs are white or brown depending on the breed of chicken, nothing to do with the quality.

Brand names have NOTHING to do with the quality of eggs.

    Of course they are safe.

What makes you think white eggs are unsafe and brown ones are safe?   You are an egg racist!   Lol...

I won't buy Eggland's for a variety of reasons number one of which is they come in a foam container.    It's not 1983.  Give the Earth a break.
