Do you think the players are as much to blame for their lack of consistent execution on offense and defense as Coach Billy Donovan?  ?

The Bulls have been very, very inconsistent on defense and equally careless on offense all season long, and not one single player in their starting lineup seems willing to step up and do what they need to do to win games for them. And, I am thinking that maybe the players are just trying too hard to make good things happen on both offense and defense, and instead making lots of mistakes.

Do you think the players are much to blame for the recent two week rough stretch as Coach Donovan? And, are they still haunted by the memory of the two games vs. San Antonio and Denver last month, which started them on this rough stretch in the first place?

College coaching is more about X and O's. The NBA is about managing people. Some of the best NBA coaches (Jackson, Riley etc ) aren't big X and O guys. And there are some great college coaches who wouldn't succeed at the NBA level because of their personalities (ie Bob Knight)

Donovan is a good coach and knows where the players should be but the NBA is about convincing guys who make 10x your salary to do what you want them to.
