The coronovirus has only lead to death in 2% of the cases. Is the vaccine risk actually worth it?

Tell us what the risk percentage is with 1 deaths out of 7 million does given? It's statistically nothing. Out of 7 million people, you might expect that 6 women, all between the ages of 18 and 48, women who are right in the prime age for using birth control, might develop blood clots and that one might even die from it. 300-400 women die from blood clots related to taking birth control pills. These six cases and one death might have nothing to do with the vaccine.

3 million deaths is quite a toll for something that can be prevented. The vaccine risk is far less than the side effects of other medications - blood clots reported of 1 in 250,000 for the vaccine, vs 1 in 1000 for the contraceptive pill each year.

what "vaccine risk"?
you run a risk of being killed in an auto accident every time you go out in a car- and that risk is far higher than any with a vaccine
so is THAT risk worth while
It dont matter WHAT you do in life there is always a risk of death as a result - there is ALSO a risk if you DONT do it
(you go out in a car you run a risk - you stay at home instead there is a risk a plane could crash on your house, and kill you, you have gas? that could cause an explosion and do the same. - you could get electrocuted, you could get burglars who break in and kill you
People have walked out of their house, tripped and hit their head on the pavement, causing a fractured skull that killed them)
(2% of the US population it over 7 MILLION people . 2% of the UK population if over 1 MILLION
you wanna run the risk of being one of those 7million in the US?)

2% of 7billion people, is a lot of deaths. And because of the way the virus spreads that percentage could be higher if unchecked.

depends is you want to die by not having it or 2 in a million who do have the vaccine and die ..big difference between 2% and .02% ho have had the vaccine .

I don't think it is unless you are in an at risk category

Do you have a 2% chance of dying from the effects of the vaccine? If not, it’s obviously worth the infinitesimal chance of having an adverse reaction.

What is unknown is whether there is any long-term negative effect from this new type of vaccine, but at least now there are many test cases who can be observed to see what may happen down the road...
