    I guess it depends whether you’re doing it because you have a “cop against civilian” mentality or you’re doing it because you actually believe in serving the public. And if you’re the type of cop that believes in serving the public, the public usually picks up on that. And you will be more likely to get thanked than the other type of cop. “As ye soweth, so also shall ye reap.”
