Does it get better? ?

Question

Since the beginning of this year, my mental health has been awful. I am in this re-occurring cycle of breakdowns, constant feelings of sadness and anxiety, with a touch of hopelessness. Part of me is scared that this is the new normal. Throughout my whole life, I need would need to deal with this. People say 'it gets better', but has it for anyone who has gone through something similar?

Don't rely on medication, develop hobbies and creative interests that produce a sense of well-being and self-worth, put some effort into doing volunteer work.. laziness is your worst enemy
