Neither. Basically I eat healthy, but sometimes I eat just for fun: sugar, fried foods, etc. Life is too short to never have fun food. But life will be even SHORTER if you DON'T eat mostly healthy. And I enjoy being alive.

Frying is a mess and so is cooking meat, in general. I still eat meat and fry occasionally but mostly other things are what I cook, things that aren't messy and a waste of resources.

somewhere in-between balance is key

We own a deep fryer and it has some good uses, but it doesn't come out very often. I didn't grow up eating a lot of fried food so don't really miss it much. French fries, onion rings, egg rolls and donuts do much better with a deep fryer though and that is the primary use of the fryer a couple times a year.

Actually frying done properly is quite healthy.
Most people don't know how to fry and what oil to use so they blame it on frying

Eating healthy can include frying. Just depends on what you are frying in and how much (i.e. pan frying vs. deep frying)

I am not a ''health nut'' .. but I also can't remember the last time that I ate anything that had been deep fried.
