Apple Earphones with Android Device? ?
My girlfriend has a Huawei P30 phone and has always used Apple's EarPods with a 3.5 mm headphone plug and they have worked without a problem for quite some time.
For some reason, after a few months, they stop working and audio plays out of the phone's speakers when plugged in and the earpod just don't work
They clearly aren't broken as they work with my iPhone and they work without a problem
Why do they stop working for her android phone after a while? How can we fix this?

Check the inside of the jack hole, yo make sure the jack has not come loose or has gotten something wedged inside of it, causing the actual plug to not filly seat into the hole, or to lose contact with the metal of the plug, specifically the little spring/wire, that makes contact with the rings and keeps the plug snugly inside the hole to keep it from accidently sliding out.
