If I was very light skinned as a 5 year old and now am much darker can I get my original shade back by not going in the sun at all?

    Maybe, but you do need to get some sunlight because your body needs Vitamin D. When outside, wear sunscreen, long sleeves and a hat.

    all animals including humans, get darker as they grow up.
