I could of sworn there was a fruit called a gore or something like that. What am I thinking of?

    Maybe your thinking of 'Gourd', which is fruits such as pumpkin, melons e.t.c.

    You are probably thinking of a GOURD. Often a decoration, mostly seen around Fall, some are actually edible.

    A Gourd is a fleshy, typically large fruit with a hard skin, some varieties of which are edible.
