How do police in England do their job without guns and police in America have to use guns?

Good question.

The UK police don't carry guns because very few people actually carry guns and most are not permitted to.

With the Stupid 300 years old Constitution which is 300 years out of date allows virtually anyone to carry a gun and that is the reason for 1000s of gun related murders each year in the US. There have been many cops shot in the US and of course the US cops have shot and in many cases murdered innocent civilians, mainly black.

Although there are several gun murders in the UK very few are of police.

Until the US gets their act together and start controlling the licensing of guns then this situation will continue and will very likely get far, far worse.

In England everyone and their dog doesn't have a gun like they do in the USA.
