is aruba strict with carding for alcohol ?

The tourist hotels and restaurants are strict about carding. I don't know about the local places. We didn't have a car and they were too far to walk.

I've never been to a Caribbean island that was strict.  My kid got served Jager shots in St. Kitts when he was 16.  I doubt Aruba is much different.  However, larger resort hotels that cater to Americans are apt to be more strict than little bars and local hotels. 

Yes. I was there with my granddaughter, who was 17, and she couldn't even get a sample in the liquor factory.
