Did you know that there have been 74 COVID deaths and 5,800 COVID cases in people who were fully-vaccinated against COVID-19?

74 deaths out of 5800 cases among vaccinated people is a mortality rate of just over 1%, compared with a rate of a 3% mortality during the period prior to dissemination of vaccines.  That's almost a 70% reduction in mortality rate.

By that standard, it's clear that the vaccines are on balance, extremely effective.

No one claimed being vaccinated made you 100% immune.

Is there a very small percentage of people vaccinated for measles who still get measles? Of Course.

Same goes for the mumps, polio, etc.

That is why the Pfizer vaccine.was deemed 97% effective.

There are 82.5 million people in the US fully vaccinated.

So 5,800 cases out of those is .007%, which as far as vaccines go is very good.

You are like Tucker.  You tell lies about covid.  At most there have been a handful.  Why are you trying to extend the death by covid.  You want to discourage vaccination so more people can die.  You are what Trump calls a patriot.  You have this attitude about covid because Trump's bungled covid response cost several hundred thousand lives and his re-election.  Since it cost him re-election you are angry about covid and want to pretend it was nothing...just like Trump did.

Do you know people around the world, and in the US, still die from the bubonic plague (the Black Death) every year ?

Well then, let's do the math.  Over 82 million Americans have been fully-vaccinated to date.  So that leaves about a 0.0001% death rate among fully-vaccinated Americans and a 0.003% infection rate.  That's probably better survival odds than driving to work every day.  It looks pretty successful to me.

Of course, the numbers will increase as fully-vaccinated people continue to get the disease, but the numbers look a lot better than the projections.

Vaccines take up to 3 weeks to be effective. No vaccines are 100% successful.

Sounds like the vaccines are EXTREMELY effective.  5800 out of 78 million fully vaccinated US citizens is 0.0074 PERCENT!  Of course with longer exposure time more fully vaccinated may get infected, but even 100X that rate still says the vaccine is over 99% effective.

Out of over 300 million doses administered in the USA, that's a pretty remarkable record of success. Going in, the scientific consensus from trials was that the vaccines were around 95% effective at protecting from the virus. Your stats are proving that the vaccines are even more successful than promised.
