Can I sue YA?

I accumulated over 10,000 points. I contributed to the site. I want to redeem the points for something.

Update:

The points system was misleading. They wanted you to think you were earning something of value. Do I have a case?

Update 2:

What about the answers I gave in science? My political analysis. Intellectual property? I never received notification by email. I didn't had a chance to save my work before they delete it?

Do I have a case?

You're not going to get any "point redemption" from Yahoo; here's why:

During the first 4 years of Yahoo! Answers, they briefly offered a prize redemption program, for forum participants who earned the high enough point scores; that has faded on to history.

That was Yahoo Answers back then---today is much nefariously darker:

The American Marxists ( along with partnered BLM ), have taken over Yahoo! Answers; they began months ago removing user comments disagreeing about Yahoo propagandist "news" articles.

In faded grey text, below every Yahoo posted "news article", this statement is noted: " ( At Yahoo ) Our goal is to create a safe and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are temporarily suspending article commenting.

Shutting down Yahoo! Answers is simply another step checked off in a much bigger--and more frightening effort--in bringing rise to a "new world order"; they're seriously giving American communism a try at success!!

Did you know you can apply for and request Yahoo send you a download of ALL your Yahoo! Answers activity? Yahoo claims they can do that---and IF they can do that.....they can "data mine" all that information to search and find, Y! A commenters they don't like; that's another Socialist tactic amended from Das Kapital itself!!

And it's yet another planned agenda step towards something I frankly fear we're soon to face: the rise of American Socialism.

Pray to God, asking He defeat these traitorous communists!!

The points are redeemable toward NOTHING.  Nothing was promised.  Nothing will be received.  Entitled brat!

Probably not for your points, but making this disappear seems like too much power for the company to have.

  • I vote for commemorative t-shirts.

I mean, at one time it DID mean something for about a minute. When they gave away promo items for what I think was their first anniversary it was based on level. I recall the early level 7s at the time could get a jacket. The mug is also cool, I have that.

    Sure, please do

i want this place to continue to exist, so i can troll the trolls more while once in a blue moon giving a serious answer

or you could do a petition, but the sueing is more likely to get their attention

It can only be redeemed for a poor self esteem
