Should I refile old tax returns?
My ex wife of over 13 years decided in 2002 decided to go on SSI while we were still married and I had literally no idea. I lived and worked away from home and only got to see her on the weekends. I literally took care of her home and my matchbox sized apartment without knowing she was drawing government benefits. She was even drawing food stamps after she had her neice move in. Here's my problem: I would file my payroll taxes as "Married" but at the end of the year would have to list myself as "Single" on my 1040 cause she would flat out refuse to give me her SSN and you can't file anything listing married without it. Now I owe like $5,000 in back taxes and I'm seriously thinking about refiling those years that I had to do that. Just thought I would get some advice.
3 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoNeed help with a 98 Buick Century heat and A/C?
98 Buick Century, the heat and/or A/C has completely stopped blowing. The screen on the digital display stopped working a long time ago but everything still worked. Now that it's stopped working I took it to a Goodyear and they have no idea. Their best guess is the heat and A/C control unit has stopped working. Is the control panel with the digital display what they're referring to and is it possible to get it and get it programmed somewhere else than a dealer?
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhat does the FAFSA/EFC really mean?
I just submitted my FAFSA in hopes of going back to college for a nursing degree and it's advised me that my EFC is 11094. I get the feeling that's how much I'm expected to pay toward my education before I'm even eligible. Is that right? Also, does submitting my FAFSA automatically put me in the loop for applying for low interest student loans like they mentioned I was eligible for? Thanks for your help in advance. God Bless.
3 AnswersFinancial Aid1 decade agoCan asthma be irritated while vacuuming or steam cleaning a carpet?
I almost had my asthma under control before I decided to vacuum/steam clean my carpets. If it gets too hot and stuffy in the apartment it does wake me up and I have to sleep with a fan on. Any thoughts would be sincerely appreciated.
4 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoBronchitis/Asthma problems after car wreck....?
My fiancee and I got rear ended a little over a month ago and three days later I'm in the ER for shortness of breath. Since then I've been at least four more times for breathing treatments and finally broke down and got a nebulizer. One problem is they keep prescribing me Albuterol which may as well be Windex for all the good it does and Atrovent works ALOT better. Here's the big issue, my auto insurance won't pay for the medicine at all cause they claim there's no link to the car wreck and my breathing problems. I think it's stress related cause for over 7 years before the wreck I never had so much as a single wheeze. I just want to breathe like I could before the wreck. Suggestions on OTC treatment, how to get the link, etc?
1 AnswerRespiratory Diseases1 decade agoFlower questions....?
I sent a girl I'm trying to romance some light pink tulips to where she works and I don't know if she's got 'em yet or not. She hasn't said and the florist isn't being much help either. Do I ask her "did you get anything" or leave it be ?

I'm not prejudice to the Japanese, just seems like a much bigger target and after all IT IS a volcano and I'm sure it would've been reactivated.
