Going in to my third year of college. Can't wait!
Graduation gift from college for my boyfriend?
My boyfriend graduates college in May, and I've been deliberating on what to get him for graduation. I am a good writer, so no matter what the gift is I will give him a piece of writing to go along with it.
I was thinking an engraved satchel with his initials for him to use when he gets a job, but they are expensive, and I am not exactly sure where to look.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So I was wondering if anyone could suggest any good vegetarian restaurants in DC. I want to take my boyfriend there and as I am not as familiar with the area, I would appreciate some help.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

4 AnswersWashington, D.C.9 years agoFacebook won't let me update my status?
In the past few days whenever I've tried to update my Facebook status, I enter it and the site says "Oops something went wrong. We're trying to fix it. Try again later." This has been happening for three days. Does anyone know why and how to fix it?
Thanks!
4 AnswersFacebook9 years agoSerious problem with my friend's legitimacy as a good person?
I know I recently asked this: but I've been thinking about it and I am really considering not talking to him for a long time. I talked to my BFF about it and he says I have the right to be angry.
A good friend of mine recently engaged me in an argument about how I've changed since coming out. We're both upperclassmen in college, and I have been out since freshman year. He quips that I have become too out, in that I remark on the sexiness of athletes (I love sports), and other things that he says are gross.
Moreover, I asked him, "supposing I said 'Maria Sharapova is really sexy' during a tennis match" and he replied "well that'd be okay because we're all guys." He's holding me to a double standard.
Also, he badgers me for me unwavering support of Lady Gaga, and says that it is not good because she is a self-absorbed performer (which is wrong on so many levels but that's for another time).
He tells me I have changed too much since I've come out and that he thinks I should tone it down. Mind you, I fit practically no stereotypes and none of my other really close friends have any issue with me or how I act.
I haven't talked to him since this, and I'm not even really sure if he realizes that I am mad at him. I'm not really sure what to do next. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender9 years agoThis boy and I are just friends but could it be more?
So this boy and I met a little while ago and hung out a few times, just as friends. He's 19, I'm 20. We've been talking a bit though lately, and I'm not that close with him but I invited him to my birthday party at college (titled good friends) cause I'm having a small get together then going out with everyone and he is coming, but I wouldn't consider us best friends hardly at all. Do you think he might want to hook up by my invitation?

1 AnswerLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoLOL looking over some old questions I've asked?
I've been a member on Yahoo Answers for about five or six years now (this account dates back to July 2008), so I can only go back that far with regards to questions I have asked. I couldn't help LOLing. One, my grammar was HORRIBLE. There was no flow, spelling, or anything coherent whatsoever lol (I was 17 then, but still...UGH lol) I'm a grammar nut now. Two, I sounded so pathetic in asking questions about boys lolol. Anyway it gave me a good laugh and smile.

6 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoI don't go for one night stands?
So this might be a little odd, or out of the ordinary, but while I'm 20 and a junior in college, gay and out to everyone, I don't do one night stands. Rather, I have done them, but I haven't enjoyed them and it bothers me. Is this weird? I just cannot see myself giving myself to someone else merely as a toy, but rather it should mean something, you know? Idk, if he wants to date me, I'm all about it, but if not, then no.
Like I like getting to know people first, then go from there. I'm not one to like to have sex right away and I feel awkward because I feel like everyone my age is the opposite of me and it's really annoying. Any advice?
Thanks :)
9 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoI'm on the edge...of dating?!?
And I'm hangin on a moment with you.... <3
Anyway, so I've been trying to get back into the dating scene after several months away from it, and I've come close twice (get the title, double entente...lol) but both have fallen through. So I suppose I'm due yeah? Gotta break through sometime.
Btw Im 20, gay and out, but not obviously gay because I'm rather masculine. I'm a junior in college :)
Will my luck start to swing my way, or will I be stuck on the edge of glory (not that that's a bad thing mind you!)

1 AnswerRadio10 years agoNovak Djokovic level of play, what is the point of watching the US Open?
How long will Djokovic be able to keep up this level of play. This has been for me (a Nadal fan) the most sickening, frustrating, awful year of tennis. It does not help that I feel Djoker has the least class of any of the top ten players on tour. He is the only male player I do not like. I hate how he is so predictable with what he will do. It ALWAYS goes to 4-4 first set, then he wins the final two games, and blows away the second set. He ALWAYS serves first, every set! I hate it. So much. When will he dip in play. Idc if he remains number one, I just want him to lose. Is there any point in watching the US Open? He's going to win, I'll bet my car.

18 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoSecond date fail ugh?
So this is a follow up to the second date thing. Im 20 gay and out, as is he. Our first date we went out for ice cream and it went really well/talked four a couple hours. The second date was supposed to be Thursday, but he had to reschedule for today. Then he texts me late last night saying he has to help a friend again (reason for first reschedule) and that he's not avoiding me he's just really busy and has work.
My gut tells me he is trying to be nice about just not wanting to go on a second date. I also know whenever someone says "I'm being honest" or "100% telling the truth," he or she is lying, I'm no idiot.
Any thoughts? So frustrating. I'd like to develop something with a guy. It's been like six months.
5 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoExcited to go on a second date with him?
Last week I went on a date with this guy to get ice cream. It was lots of fun, we had many things in common/things to talk about (p.s. 20 gay out male junior in college, he is too). He asked me out on that one, so I have asked him out this week to go hiking and he said yes. I'm pretty excited because I haven't dated someone in about six months. I guess I don't really have a question just kinda excited slash does this sound like a fun second date?
10 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoI went on a date last night?
So im 20, out and gay lol. I went on what I guess you could call a first date last night. We went out for icecream, and I had only briefly talked with him over Facebook and a little texting. I didn't really know what to expect, and I usually like to get to know someone as a friend first before going on a date, but I enjoyed myself. He seemed really interested in what I had to say. I guess my question is Ive kinda been playing the uninterested and hard to get card, which is totally opposite of what I usually do lol. So at what point can I stop playing hard to get if we keep going on dates? Or does it never stop lol?
7 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoTips to getting out of this slump?
Hi I'm 20 and going into my 3rd year of college. I'm a guy, and out, and proud though it's not entirely obvious that I am gay. I've been having a bit of bad luck with guys lately, such as in getting introduced to one and it falls through, or just plain not connecting with anyone. I'm a bit frustrated. I had gotten out of a nasty relationship last winter, but I feel as though I'm ready to jump into the scene again, but I'm having a hard time getting started. I just want a guy to flirt with for starters!
