  • The Wave Waterpark or Legoland Season Passes?

I plan to buy season passes for either the Wave Waterpark or Legoland for the summer. But, I am torn between the two! Gas prices are a huge consideration, we live closer to the Wave by about 9 miles. But, The Wave passes are good for 4 1/2 months ($240/family) and Legoland's are for one year ($460/family) Which would be better for a family with a teenager and two grade schoolers?

Oh, you do get a one day pass to Legoland along with the Wave pass along with other specials.

  • Question for Japanese Americans?

I am a Japanese American. My mother was born in Japan and immigrated to the United States as a picture bride. My father was born in Southern California. His father immigrated to the States and his mother was born in Oakland and was raised in Japan (she retained her U.S. citizenship).

My question is what generation am I considered to be, Nisei (second generation) or Sansei (third generation)? My mom always considered us (my sister and I ) to be Nisei (since our grandmother was schooled in Japan), but, I am conflicted on this when I am asked by others. What are your thoughts?

  • Fans Of "My So-Called Life"!!?

"My So-Called Life" is one the best teen drama on television ever! Any fans out there? What is your favorite episode and character? It's a shame that it only lasted one season!

My favorite character is Angela. My favorite episode is the one where Rayanne winds up with Jordan Catalano, after Angela must leave to make curfew. I just love the part where Jordan sings, "I Wanna Be Sedated", he was so hot!

  • Did anyone watch The View today (11-07-06)? It was awesome!?

They had Dave and Mary (Team Kentucky) from The Amazing Race on there. Rosie and Elisabeth were so in awe of their spirit on the show as sweet, coalmining people that they presented them with a new Ford Explorer, a gift certificate for clothes, trips for them and their kids and a new house to replace their trailer. It was so great! I cried like a baby, because, they really touched me with their determination and love for their kids, while they were in the competition. Couldn't have happened to a better couple!
