  • airbags in my Renault?

I have bought a used Renault Scenic Expression 4WD 2002 model, and the specifications say that there are 6 airbags fitted to ALL scenic expression 4WD models. Well there are the driver ones, the ones in the side of the front seats, but I just cannot find the other two. Not even the Renault dealer could tell me where they are. SO! where are the other two? there is no provision over the top of the drivers door where I thought a curtain bag may be, and none in the sides of the rear seats.

Do I have to have a crash to solve the mystery????

  • I need a repellent for March fly attacks?

Mainly for Aussie readers, as don't know if march flies are anywhere else.

I have a plague of March flies, and I have tried every insect repellant known to man, but these little horrors bite and sting regardless, and also right through clothing, even thick jumpers which are a nightmare to wear anyway in this heat. My garden is in desperate need of attention but I can't get near it!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I am in Melbourne Australia....in the Dandenongs...

  • Attempted mass murder?

I am so shocked to hear of the latest mass shooting in Arizona, and my heart goes out to the victims, but my big question is what sort of idiot passes a law allowing the carrying of concealed unregistered weapons? as has just been on the news here in Australia. Is that for real?? doesn't anyone ever learn from these mass killings that there are maniacs out there????

  • missing info on my PC?

I'm hoping someone with more PC savvy than me (doesn't have to be much I can tell you!! LOL) can help. When I turn on the pc I get the message dnssd.dll is not on your pc, and will prevent some programs from running successfully.

Do you what this is, I haven't consciously deleted anything that I can remember, and I have no idea what it relates to, or where to start looking or searching.

Many thanks for any advice you can give.......

  • I have just purchased a food mixer?

that doesn't have a splash guard, and as it uses a planetary action, I can't see how I can fit something to prevent splashing. I tried using foil, but I had to leave too big a hole, because of the movement of the mixer thingy.

I needed to use high speed, and my kitchen wore most of the indredients........any help with this problem would be GREATLY appreciated.........

  • If all the icebergs melted, why would the seas rise as claimed?

surely the melted water would only replace the area left by the melted bergs, therefore leaving the sea level the same as before...

  • As a qualified food handler I am apppalled by the unhygenic food handling practices of subway staff.......?

don't they get any qualified training? the gloves they wear are to protect their customers, NOT to keep their hands clean!!!! I have watched them wipe benches down with gloved hands, then put these same gloved hands into all to food to make the rolls, not only introducing bacteria from the benches, but also cross contaminating the food, by handling it all with the same gloves......

This is in Australia, I'm not familiar with the practice in other countries

  • Making Soil Water Absorbent?

I have a very large garden and cannot afford to use water saving granules, and a lot of the garden cannot absorb water anymore, because of the drought (Australia). I have been told that I can use a few drops of biodegradable dishwashing liquid in a bucket of water and start putting this around the garden and the soil will be able to absorb water again. Is this true? anyone done this? I don't want to kill the plants that are left.....

I do mulch, but the water just sits on the top of the soil and rolls into little balls.....

  • Film information please..... a few years ago I watched a version of Jane Eyre, ...............?

Starring Sanley Baker as Mr. Rochester. Unfortunately I cannot remember any of the other actor's names.

I cannot find any reference for this version anywhere. Its not even listed as one of the films included in Stanley Baker's biography.

I would appreciate anything you can give me about this particular film, and even if its available on DVD.....

  • Help with a song title etc please?

The song starts with the words, Your'e a lady, I'm a man, and somewhere in the song are the words, be mine, tonight.

The singer has a really husky voice, and it has some really grandious orchestral stuff in it. I thought it was Manhattan Transfer, but can't find anything from them like that.

Thanks - hopefully - for an answer to this...
