I really hate stupid people.

  • Is it healthy to cook eggs for my dog?

Every morning, after I make my breakfast, I scramble two eggs in a non stick pan (no seasonings, oil, or butter) for my dog. He loves it. Is this healthy? He doesn't eat table scraps otherwise. This is the ONLY people food he gets (unless he is naughty!).

  • Has my AC Power adapter gone bad?

For the past few weeks, my dell laptop has been running on the battery power, even though I have it plugged in to my adapter. I usually don't notice it until I get a pop up message from my computer telling me to change the power source. The battery will usually start charging when I change outlets. Now, all of a sudden last week, I can't charge the battery at all with the adapter. I plug it into an outlet, and it won't charge. My battery is dead dead dead. I am thinking it is the adapter, the little green indicator light won't even light up.

I ordered a new adapter from Dell this morning...

    Any ideas or input?

FYI - it is a Dell XPS M140 - less than one year old

  • Who loves the "Dog Whisperer?"?

I think he is so full of ..... Common Sense! I love his show. Does anyone else use his training techniques? (Even though he has a disclaimer that these techniques should only be used by a trained professional?) I think the basics apply to everyone, like daily excercise, then discpline, then affection...

    Any thoughts?

  • Wisdom teeth extraction... Will the pain EVER GO AWAY?

I had my wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday (Oct. 12). Its been more than 48 hours. My cheeks are all stitched up, it feels like the stitches are pinching my flesh. The sockets don't hurt, but my cheeks are swollen and very stiff. I feel like I am chewing on the insides of my cheeks. I feel like there are rocks in my cheeks. My oral surgeon gave me a perscription for 800 mg. Motrin and an oral rinse. I went thru the first bottle of 15 pills already. I'm not bleeding anymore, but my entire jaw just ACHES! Will it ever go away? I'm so tired of feeling lousy, I just want to enjoy the TIGERS in the ALCS.

I don't ever want to have this done again! LOL

How long will I suffer like this???

  • Vicodin Substitution?

I am getting my wisdom teeth extracted in two weeks. I had a perscription for vicodin and antibiotics a few weeks back (tooth infection- hence the wisdom teeth extraction) The drugs gave me headaches and made me sick to the stomach. The vicodin stopped the pain in my tooth, but I still suffered from headaches and nausea. Was it the Vicodin or the antibiotics that made me feel sick? (Or maybe a combonation of the two?)

I want to request a different pain killer when I go to the Oral Surgeon, but I don't want something weaker than vicodin, because I know the pain will be much worse.

What is a good vicodin substitution?

  • I'm getting my wisdom teeth extracted... What can I expect?

Will there be a lot of pain? When can I eat? How long will it take to heal? Will they give me good drugs? :) How long before the swelling goes down? Whats the ride home going to be like? Will I be black and blue?

My teeth are pretty impacted... I was told by my dentist that they may have a tough time.

  • What is the best way to get rid of mice?

I don't have any pets or children. I have noticed a mouse running around at night. I took a good look around and found some droppings (I think). I've never had this problem before. I want to nip this in the bud before winter sets in and they come inside. I set a trap with peanut butter and caught one last night, however I know that there are probably more. If I set out poison, how can I find the bodies? Will they die immediately, or do they drag the poison back to their nest? Will they spread the poison to the rest of the mice in the nest? What are the favorite hiding places? What is the most inexpensive and efficient ways to get rid of them?

I'm not interested in getting a cat.

    Any suggestions??
