How to chisel wood into cups?
If anyone has seen my previous post.....
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApWZu...
As a recap: I have glued two pieces of wood together and cut a template on the top to look like this.
http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://produ...
How do I now make the cups? As in how do I 'chisel' the cups out without actually using a chisel? ( I do have a chisel though ) Is there anything that I can do to make it easier? I.e a dremel? or something like that.
I only have a drill, and a jigsaw, (still building my tool collection) any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
Hopefully it all makes sense
7 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoHow to glue two pieces of wood together to make a thicker piece?
So I'm looking to make a Rumolli board (if you don't know what it is, its a board game). A lot of the wood around my place isn't thick enough. (I want to make it so there are 'cups' like seen here http://productsofcanada.com/vendors/POC/Rummoli/ru...
A lot of the wood is only 3/4" thick so I wanted to glue two pieces together, and then chisel out these cups...
Is this even possible? will it ruin the integrity of the wood?
If it is possible how do I go about doing it? Any help would be gratly appreciated.
Cheers
Do It Yourself (DIY)1 decade agoWhat to get the wife for xmas?
Well I'm in a jam on what to get the wife for xmas?
We have been married for 2 years, and have given each other a 'budget' I'm working as she's in school the budget is $200 each. But I'm going to fudge it a bit, and probably spend around at most $500 cause I don't want her to get that mad at me. (ha ha ha)
Anyways my ideas so far (and from her suggestionsas well as my own are: ( I will add the 'pros/cons' on them as well)
Digital SLR camera
A good one is going to eat up 500$+ DEFINATELY, and I want to get a 'good one' cause whats the point of spending even near that for a camera that isn't 'as good'.......
I was thinking of an IPOD touch, she has a nano... (old generation) but I was thining it more along the lines that my iwfe has a day planner and she's that type of person that 'plans things' and thought this would make a good PDA (as it seems those things are going out of style)
Clothes, all women love clothes so thats easy...
Anyways pros or cons from anyone reading this? or suggestions......

5 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoChipped tooth VAT DO I DO?
Chipped my tooth what are my options?
So I was eating some breakfast this morning when I felt a chip from my tooth
I took at a look at it, and I have a vertical chip on what looks like my first molar, it looks like if the tooth has 'four peaks on it' one peak is well literally gone, i did have a filling done on it recently.... so i'm MAD... what can I do???? I'm wondering is there anything that can be done to save my tooth? or am i going to have to get a bridge done? or a root canal? or what...!!
Can they just put a crown on it? or does that mean a root canal has to be done? is a bridge involved here? what if there is extraction.
BLARGH i hate going to the dentist!

1 AnswerDental1 decade agoExtraction vs Root Canal?
So I'm looking for a decent answer here.
So on my last visit to the dentist, he recommended getting my wisdom teeth out. He also noticed that I will need a root canal on one of my tooth as well (last molar beside the wisdom tooth). He recommended that I either get a root canal or have it extracted at the same time as my wisdom tooth. I am looking for some pros vs cons on either or. I want to keep my tooth but at the same time, I HATE GOING to the dentist, cost is a bit of an issue, but not the end of end alls.
Any help would be great thanks
