Here is the deal, we are in quite a bit of debt which was brought forth by both of us and I can admit that. But there is something else, like a gambling issue that my wife has and I don't know if I can put up with it anymore. She opened a checking account at the beginning of the year and I told her not to because I know how she is, and of course I was right and she overdrafted the account. But at the moment that is the least of our worries, I have been waiting on our stimulus check to come in the mail for the last month and have been flipping out about it every couple of days. Well low and behold this morning I ask her for the IRS # that you can call to see what the deal is, and she gives it to me then tells me that we received it on June 10 and that she put $600 towards a bill that needed paying, then proceeds to tell me that she threw the other $1200 into a video lottery machine to see if she could turn a profit to pay other debt. I just need an opinion and that is it.

I bought a bunch of vitamin water last week because they just started selling it in my local store, and I got to tell ya that stuff is great. I have yet to find one that isn't good and it doesn't leave a funky aftertaste like Gatorade or Powerade. I would love to get anyone elses input as well.

I would like to know why Christmas seems to come earlier every year, I mean come on we still have just over a month and a half and the stores already have out the holiday stuff and are playing Christmas music. I am really starting to dislike this holiday for the main reason that we have thrust Thanksgiving aside and go straight for Christmas. You can call me a scrooge all you want, I just think they could wait until right around Thanksgiving to setup the displays and everything. I would like anyone that answers this question to elaborate and give your opinion.

Here is what I propose, gas prices are getting ridiculous (agreed). So lets stick it to the gasmen, here is my idea everyone that reads this question tells ten or twenty people they know not to drive anywhere on a certain day in the near future. Now if we could get half the people that drive cars in the country to not do so on this day I really believe that we could put a hurting on those jerks that control the flow of oil in this country, starting with the moron in the white house. I haven't mended out the details but anyone that is interested in doing this can contact me through email and we can work out the logistics of this deal. I really feel that if we could band together that we could really be heard, just think that would be millions of gallons of oil that wouldn't be going anywhere for one day they would have to lower prices I am very sure of this. So I ask Who is with me here?

I realize that everyone is entitled to their opinions and all that but why do people think it is cool to be pricks when some people are just asking a simple question looking for a simple answer. Now I have seen some really stupid questions on here that I could poke some fun at but I choose not to because I want to give my opinion on something I think is interesting, I have also seen some really idiotic answers to some legitimate questions and would like to know why people go out of their way to do such a thing. Is it sheer boredom or are they just doing it for two extra points I guess everyone is their own judge when it comes to that, I just don't see why people have to be so damn obnoxious then again this is coming from someone (me) that used to do stupid things for attention maybe I have just matured in the passing time. I expect to get some of these answers that I do not like so much and hey thats fine but of course they won't be in the running for ten points right.

I just seen this same question and had to post it here. So what is your honest opinion? Mine is guys with guns, my mom is too burnt out to be scary anymore (and I mean that in the nicest of ways) I was scared of my mom until I was about 13 or 14.

Of course I don't really consider myself being afraid of someone with a gun, for the main point that it isn't me that controls what they end up doing in the end. Of course I have had a gun pointed straight at my face, I ain't saying I am some macho kind of person that considers myself to be invincible I just figure that if I might not make it out alive I may as well not beg and plead for my life. I see at least once everytime I log on to here either Democrats complaining about Republicans or vice versa. Why the heck can't you just agree on something and stop being so infantile with the name calling, and the constant barrage of critical behavior of each other.

It seems anymore that these two political parties are working against each other to make the country what they feel it should be rather than working together, while listening to the citizens to make it the way we all think it should be.

I am a registered Democrat which some of you will probably say " I am sorry" or " you are an idiot", I really don't care what anyone says. I really think that starting now everyone needs to work with each other, which means compromising without complaining and name calling. I'm sure I am going to get smart a$$ remarks but I would appreciate it if you didn't do this because this is an honest question that requests an honest answer.

I would just like to know why our government, the ones we are asked to trust everyday (even though it doesn't seem like they trust us very much), is more into being a Superpower rather than to uphold the freedoms that were granted to us more than 200 years ago. It doesn't seem anymore that the people that we elect are worried about our freedoms as much as they are concerned with their own public image. It wasn't apparent to me until quite recently that things were not right with our government, after all of the events that occured in September of 2001. Number one thing being the Patriot Act, why now after 200 years are we just going to give up the freedoms that our ancestors fought for so we could have them. I really don't need the government searching into my past just because I want to check out a library book or am surfing online. Now this is all of my own opinion and isn't meant in any way to be offensive, if you don't like it don't answer it. I know I can't stop you though.

I live in Sturgis and have for about the last 12 years, every year hundreds of thousands of bikers and vendors and just random passersby are drawn to this weeklong event (more like 2 weeks if you ask me with all the crowds). My opinion of this rally is very harsh and I don't like having to adjust my life around this event that I don't even want to be a part of anymore. I know you are saying why don't you just move away and I would although it is not that simple, my whole family including my wife's family live here and life would probably be made hell for me because it would be my idea to move. I just want everyones opinion of this event positive or negative and if you have even heard of it.
