Need to sell '75 Vette - what should I do before listing it?
I need to sell a 1975 Corvette - bright yellow, auto, w/ T-tops. Needs some restoration inside and out but is mechanically sound. What should I focus on without spending a lot of time or money before trying to sell it?
2 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoHave you ever walked out of a movie because it was so bad?
If so, what was it?
I walked out of Gung Ho and Black Widow, back when I was just sassygirl.
5 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoAnyone want to pool our pocket change and buy GM?
With the stock under $2 consistently I think if a bunch of us get together we could pool our pocket change and buy all the stock! I'm sure between us we could manage it better!

8 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoIs it time for civil servants to take a pay cut and give back to us - the taxpayers?
Companies are cutting wages, forcing furloughs, eliminating pensions, and forcing us to give back to them so they can remain competitive. In the interest of employment, people are forced to deal with these cuts and more . . .cut hours, higher costs of living, etc.
When is the government going to start cutting back to be competitive and to protect their customer - you and me? When are they going to cut salaries 2% or 4% or 6%? When are they going to curtail travel?
Throughout the economic crisis I've heard nothing about government employees cutting back and would love to hear your feedback!

36 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWould you mind if the USPS changed to 5 day/week service?
The Postmaster General testified that as a worst case scenario the USPS would have to eliminate one day of service because of the economic downturn. Last year they lost $2.8B.
Would you care? One less day of junk mail, bills, campaign flyers, etc.
Tell me what you think!
6 AnswersGovernment1 decade agoWhat is the liberals' plan to keep America safe from terrorists?
After the policy reversals of last week, including closure of Gitmo, I am wondering what they plan to do to avoid another 9-11.

5 AnswersElections1 decade agoIs anyone else tired of the senate updates on McCain?
I'm wondering who is making the bailout political - the only ones I'm seeing on the news are democratic Senators complaining about McCain. My favorite is that they vow to work next week if necessary.
I'd rather get an update on their progress, or have them focus on something else. What do you think?
14 AnswersElections1 decade agoI'm getting ready to take over, America. Who's with me?
There is a real sense of political discontent in the US regardless of party, from the local govt to the highest office. I think it's high time I intervened.
Enough with the politicians and their lies!
It's going to take some time to organize so unless everyone writes me in for Pres we may have to wait 4 more years.
Who's with me??
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWhen should I consult a lawyer for a worker's comp case?
My husband was severely injured at a second job just over a year ago; he is still receiving medical attention. We live in Wisconsin and I consulted an attorney shortly after the accident and was told to wait for a year. What am I waiting for? Bankruptcy?
Anyone that's been through this would be a great asset. Thanks!
5 AnswersLaw & Legal1 decade ago50% of affairs start at work events. What would you do?
I was recently on a business trip and a bunch of us went out - the new *HOT* guy (I'm talking tall, dark and handsome) kept hitting on me all night, even after I told him I was married. We were far from our homes and staying in the same hotel. I recalled an article that stated 50% of all affairs start during workplace events and was shocked to realize how easy it would have been to become a statistic.
What would you do?
I behaved and even told my husband about the situation. Sassy Girlz can only get away with so much . . .

3 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoWho thinks this answer is worth a violation?
Yesterday I answered a question about eating fruit/vegetable peels and got a violation notice - I don't understand why. Please read and help me see the light!!
Deleted Answer: Yes to all. There are a lot of nutrients just under the peel; there are also chemicals on the fruits and vegetables so it is important to scrub them all well before eating. Don't be afraid of using bleach on fruits and veggies and then rinsing well. Or buy organic - a little more expensive but worth it in the long run.
