I am planning a little vacation to San Francisco at the end of the summer. Living up in Alaska, good food is somewhat of a commodity and I haven't had a decent cut of prime rib in close to 3 years. Anyone got a place for me to go that would have killer prime rib?

I am going to be heading to San Fran at the end of the summer, and I'm already looking for a place to stay.... I'm not looking for opulence, but I don't want a dump of a place either. The only other thing I'm looking for, is close proximity to a BART station, as I'm not planning to rent a car a deal with the pains of California traffic... any suggestions?

I'm heading to Honolulu for the first time in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a place, either outside or inside of Chinatown, that offers Szechuan Hot Pot, also known as Szechuan Pepper Pot....I'd love to try it!

I am originally from the area and have been living in Alaska for 2 years....I am coming back to visit friends, and I am having a very hard time figuring out where to eat after I arrive and get my bags and rental car....Help! I'm looking specifically in western wayne county/ann arbor, but am open to suggestions....where should I have dinner after a 14 hour flight??????

I'm not sure if the actual action involved is slander, but I would like to see what sort of recourse I would have. A former employer has told prospective employers in times past some information about my time employed with them, and it has cost me 2 decent paying jobs. The last time it happened was 2 months ago, and I was actually told from the last prospective employer was actually quite kind and told me what it is exactly they had said about my character. Is that slander, and if so, what can one do about that legally? What would I have to prove to win a case?

I am currently playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope on the 360, and I seem to be a little stuck. I am at the Purgatorium, and I have encountered Tamiel. For the life of me, I cannot seem to get this guy! In retrospect, the 2500HP EM Bombs I had I should have kept for him and not the guardian thing that gave me the light ring. How do I spank this guy without any clever tricks like that?

I'm going to be visiting the Metro Detroit area (Canton/Plymouth/Ann Arbor/Livonia) in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are some new places in the area that I might want to hit while I'm in town. I was born and raised in Canton, but I've been living in Alaska for the past 2 years and haven't been back to check out anything until now.....any places I should try?

I'm going to be in the Tawas/Oscoda area on the eastern side of Michigan here in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone out there might have a place to recommend for fried smelt. I've been told the dipping there is excellent.

Just a curious question at the moment, but the idea grows and grows the worse it seems to get here....I think of it as a Plan "B".

I know I'll prolly get a few smart-*** answers, but we are at a loss as to things to do here at night and during the weekend in Juneau. Anyone got any ideas? Open for pretty much anything.

I'm going to be visiting my wife in Virginia next week, and we are bandying around the idea of visiting Washington DC for a day and a good part of the night as well, and I'm wondering if there is anyone out there who has some suggestions as to where the Mrs. and I can go and grab a really good meal for lunch and dinner that's not going to cost a fortune (was thinking around 10-12.00 a person not including alcohol), that offers fare that I can pronounce? :)

I'm going to be visiting my wife who is in the Coast Guard training in Yorktown in September, and I was wondering if anyone out there can guide me to some really good seafood places in the Yorktown/Newport News/Norfolk area. I am allergic to shellfish, so any places that have lots to work with in the fish department is a plus. Thanks!
