14 AnswersDogs1 decade agohow can i shorten the directory path i see in Explorer?
Not IE, but Windows Explorer XP. When exploring my folders, the root of all of my searches is invariably at least 50 characters long which pushes it so far off the window, all i do is scroll horizontally 3 times before i can begin to view the meaningful part that i need. Is there a way for Explorer to shorten my long directory path name to show an Alias, or am i stuck with renaming "Documents and Settings" to "D&S" and deal with the ramifications of all references? Thanks
