This show was centered on the life of a middle aged couple. On the first episode they were happy to be sending their youngest son off to college, but their other son asks to come back home with his wife and children. He had just lost his job and didn't have another place to go.

The couple has an older son, he is a police detective, I think. Though he doesn't live in the same house he always shows up. The youngest son, however, never shows again.

I can only remember some loose information about the show like:

The old man liked golfing (there's an episode where he spends the whole time trying to meet his friends at the golf course);

The man is retired and the woman works with real estate;

The older son is divorced and, if I'm not mistaken, he develops a drinking problem;

The old man was always at his garage working on a boat;

The opening credits had an instrumental song and showed a fridge with a chocolate cake in it. The old man tries to eat a piece of cake, but everybody else gets their piece first. When the old man finally gets to the fridge, there are just some cake crumbles on the plate.

Estou tentando lembrar do nome deste seriado há um bom tempo. Ele passava no Multishow nos anos 90. A história girava em torno de um casal mais velho. No primeiro episódio eles estavam muito contentes em estar mandando para a faculdade o seu filho mais novo, mas seu outro filho aparece, pedindo para voltar para casa dos pais com a mulher e seus filhos. Ele está desempregado e não tem outro lugar para onde ir.

O casal tem um filho mais velho, que é detetive da polícia, eu acho. Apesar de ele não morar na mesma casa, está sempre aparecendo por lá. Já o filho mais novo nunca mais aparece.

Eu me lembro de fatos isolados sobre a série, como:

O homem gosta de jogar golfe (tem um episódio que ele passa o tempo todo tentando encontrar os amigos para jogar);

O homem é aposentado e a mulher é corretora de imóveis;

O homem está sempre na garagem construindo um barco;

O filho mais velho é divorciado e, se não me engano, tem um problema com bebidas;

Nos créditos de abertura tocava uma música instrumental e mostrava uma geladeira com um bolo de chocolate dentro. O homem (usando um roupão azul) tentava comer um pedaço do bolo, mas todo mundo chegava antes do que ele e comia um pouco. Quando ele finalmente chega na geladeira, só sobraram umas migalhas do bolo no prato.
