Cab I grt an apartnent with this arrangent

a man proposed cutting the government workers including the senate and congress with no raises for two years thus saving around 9.2 trillion dollars. Are they willing to sacrifice for America as they ask the rest of us to do? Just think about this they make vast sums of money not only in their own 10% raises that they give them selves every year but through the many perks that come with these offices. I would like to see these people held accountable as they ask all the rest of the country to sacrifice their way of life. Let them find out that the tax payers in this country expect and demand that the people who are supposed to be serving us serve only for the money and glory of their offices.I ask you the people of America to call your senators and congress men and ask if they are willing to sacrifice for America or are they just to good to be put into the same category as the citizens they are supposed to be serving. At least it is some thing we have not tried and I think it is a long time coming. Also have a bill in all states to limit the terms in those offices to two years only and they do not take what they were making as a retirement fund. Have them put into social security and private retirement plans for their future just like they expect the tax payers of the USA to do. They are not above the law but they think they are the privileged few who do not have to follow the dictates they set up for their fellow Americans.

When cutting entitlements let's start with the top echelon. How about if the senate, congress, president and his cabinet use their own Obama care plan it would save a lot of money for tax payers and they would find out first hand what this plan does and does not cover. Have them pay out of their own pockets instead of the tax payers pockets. Cut all the perks and their are many from these offices it would save a ton of money.As with any good plan you start at the top and work your way down. Or is this a case of do what I say and not what I do?

adopted by them I think it would show patriotic loyalty if they also use the same health care plan, let them use the same plan as most Americans will be using. After all think of the money it would save the government and at the same time show the senate and congress what it is really like to be one of the people they represent. Remember do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Well if this was Utopia it would work very well but by no means will they ever let go of the many perks that the tax payers actually pay for. If a bill was brought to the floor on this issue it would be voted down unanimously. So much for I feel your pain America as long as I don't have to share that pain with you. So sad too bad we've been had.
