i went to the dentist and asked how much it would cost me for my deductable.I was told $220. They did not say that was an estiment.I asked twice,and hubby asked when he paid the bill. 3 days later I get a bill from this dentist says I now owe an extra $97. I called the insur and they said they should have called them and asked. Said i should tell this dr. thats poor practice ethics.What do you think? The bill was over $1200. I feel he is ripping people off. To me its like going to the store buying a loaf of bread then the store sends me a bill said, it was more expensive to bake it, send them $5.00 more dollars to cover the cost. If i would have know, i would have just had it pulled out. thanks
