  • Could a telescope see Oort objects?

    Limiting this question to direct visual observations, regardless of engineering or cost, could a telescope be built that could observe any Oort object? [I think the answer is no, but it should be fun playing with this idea.]

  • What color do YOU think the Sun really is?

    I am not interested in what the Sun's true color might be -- as seen from above our atmosphere and at a greately reduced intensity -- but what color YOU suspect it would be if you were in space and weren't blinded by its intense blaze. [Thus, there are no wrong answers for a change. :) ]
