I am wondering about recording video on my canon 7d. I am going to record a set of my friends band, and I dont know much about it. I have a 16gb compact flash card, from what I understand that will recoprd about 45-50 minutes of video, is that correct? I also read that it records in 12 minute increments to keep the sensor from overheating. Does this mean I have to hit record after 12 minutes to start it up again?

I am also going to shoot a second angle just on a really old crappy canon rebel... XT I think it is. Same questions for the XT, just wondering if I have to hit record again after 12 minutes of recording.

Lastly, do I need to have any particular settings set in the cameras menu in order to make sure the card will go for 45-50 minutes? That is the approximate length of the set. Thanks!

I have a bunch of 1-2 minute long videos and I need to clip 10-15 second sections out of them, and save them individually. I would prefer free software, but I will pay for one if I have to. I need it to be quick and easy to learn. Thanks!

I want to know, what is the difference between all these frigging cameras? Its so confusing. Why are their two hero4's, and one is $559.99 and the other is $279.99? Im so confused and starting to get angry lol because I cant make sense of all this crap! Why the different cersions of the SAME camera, and difference prices? Its confusing and pissing me right off.

I am tryig to get the software and drivers for my Canon 7D, I am getting an error message on my camera, and someone suggested I do a firmware update, that it could fix the error. I am trying to do that, but I need the EOS Utility to do it. I tried to download the EOS update from the canon website, but because I dont have the original one already installed, it wont let me update it. Does anyone know how to get the original version from the cd, so that I can download it, then update it, then do the firmware update.

I want to add a drop down menu on my blogger... I have found lots of tutorials telling me how, but they all tell me how to add a new drop down menu, but what I want to do is add a drop down to my existing menu bar. Youcan see I already have a menu bar, and I want to be able to hover over the 'Gallery' heading, and then I want my galleries to drop down... the galleries would be weddings, kids, etc. Does anyone know how I would do that? Also, is there a way, once I get the pages to show up in the drop down, can I stop them from showing up in the main menu bar?
