I want to add a blinker to a light in my house, I want to be able to keep it on/off solid, and have the option to flip a switch and have it blink.

The only thing I could think of to do this would be a turn signal relay from a car, except I'm not sure it can process that much voltage and current as provided by a household. Also it was designed for DC voltage, whereas AC is provided. Any alternative devices come to mind?

I can probably figure out the wiring requirements, but wiring suggestions would help too. thankss

I'm painting some flat plastics-- I'm attempting to get them to shine, so I've been using chrome touch up paint-- something pretty reflective. I can't get it to work at all.

the paint by itself shows obvious fingerprints if you hold the plastic for more than a second.

a clearcoat applied after the pain breaks down the paint-- still shows fingerprints.

I've tried all sorts of combinations and brands of paints.

I've spent too much on these paints already. I need a working solution.

it should be noted that once these fingerprints are imprinted on the plastics-- they're permanent. the only way to get rid of them is to paint over them. wiping it down with something makes the paint come off.

It's my understanding you can't bring shampoo or bodywash, or toothpaste for that matter on airplanes. so do you have to buy your hygenics at your destination? or did I misunderstand what I was told?

I find myself In the need of a multipurpose tool, which I do have a rough schematic to build. It however requires some metal fabrication and the building/programming of some circuit boards.

Is there any company out there that can take on a request like that?

There's a sountrack played on battletanx global assault (PS1) that I can't seem to find on any of the soundtrack lists. As they are all instrumentals, it's hard to describe which one I'm talking about.

the majority of songs played throughout the game have a rock/metal tone to it, but the one I'm looking for was more calm. the best I can describe it would be a sound of drums and some whistling-like sound, like you'd hear in an army movie.

in the episode "the sound of drums" the master has comandeered the TARDIS. how did the master capture it? i saw the flashback where the doctor fused the TARDIS controls, but i didnt see the episode.. why would he let the master on the TARDIS?

also, what did the doctor do to eliminate the timelord race? he said he killed all of them in "the doctor's wife" did he literally destroy the planet, or did he seal them in a pocket of time? werent there other TARDISes or travelers elsewhere?

3rd question. the master, who appears twice... i read up on the old series, and he apparently had several TARDISes, what happened to those? were they destroyed prior to the new series?

I got a playstation 3 a few years ago. at the time, they were building them so that they cant play PSX or PS2 games. although mine does, i was just curious if about new ps3's they brought out (the $300 "does everything" playstations)

In the 2004 episode "Dalek" the dalek fused with rose tyler's DNA, and mutated. (it was said that this one survived the time war) anyway, this dalek self destructed. case closed. but i saw this same mutated dalek in a future episode, i cant remember the name.. it was the same mutated dalek in a destroyed battle armor. did the self destruct fail? how did it end up in that chamber with the big dalek boss? is it immortal? what do daleks look like under that armor?
