Nota LGBT
I value life greatly, and I will do whatever I can to help someone else see the same value that I see in it. I know there are other options besides suicide, and I will try to help others see the other options available to them. I don't care if you are gay, straight, or something in between. I also don't care if you are black, white, or any other color or race. I don't judge people, and give everyone the same respect as I want them to give me. You can reach me at my email at NotaLGBT@gmail.com if you wish to talk about anything.
No more Suicidal people on Yahoo ?
Lately, the daily email message reporting hits on my stored searches for the words "suicide" and "suicidal" have been coming in with NO HITS. I am guessing that Yahoo is preventing them from showing.
To me, this is a stupid move because now the kids have one less place to seek help. I know some people would just encourage them to do it, but Yahoo should go after those people who give bad answers, and not take away an opportunity for someone to cry out for help !!!
Am I missing something ? What is your view ?
4 AnswersYahoo Answers5 years agoWhy do I keep getting sent to my own profile page ?
I get the daily "Yahoo Answers: There are new questions which match your saved searches!" email and have been using it since it first started without problem. Within the last week, when I click on a question that interests me, instead of being taken to the question, I am ALWAYS taken to my own profile page of all my previous answers. I can NOT get to the question I clicked on EVER anymore. I don't know why and am hoping someone will have an answer.
Thanks !!
1 AnswerYahoo Answers7 years agoLooking for local News from Queensland - Need help !!!?
I have been conversing with a young man from Queensland for over a month. We started when he asked a question about suicide. We emailed daily, and had a excellent friendship going. I think one of his problems may have come to a head this weekend, and I haven't heard from him since.
I am worried that he may have committed suicide. How can I get any local news from Queensland, Australia on any suicides from March 30th, until about April 3rd, 2012 ? His first name is Troy.
Thanks for any help in getting information to me.

I can't believe that the questions from the bashers get so many answers. Look at them and you will see that they end up with 30 or more answers in a very short time. We have to stop ALL replys.
I suggest, starting NOW, that the FIRST person to answer a post, to post a RAMO answer. As an example, see http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ai0W....
Anyone who visits AFTER the RAMO message is posted, should just REPORT it as abuse.
DO NOT reply in any way. Don't say "You are reported". DO NOT REPLY AT ALL !!!
I don't know why people can't understand this.
If anyone replys AFTER a RAMO message, anyone else visiting that question should give them a THUMBS DOWN. (Unless it is only a minute or so after, in which case the RAMO answer may not have been posted yet.)
If you want to have the bashers leave, we need to stop answering their questions. I think my way will work after a while.
Will YOU commit to helping ?
18 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade ago"Choice" vrs. "No Choice" - Looking for the TRUTH. (I am totally sincere with the question)
First, look at my name, and look at my previous answers. I am not gay, nor do I bash gays. We are all human.
I have always read here that being homesexual is "not a choice" and that "we are born this way". Most everyone who says that, leads one to believe that it's scientifically proven. I never thought that was true, but not being a LGBT, I was only here to learn about it, because a very good friend of mine is gay, and I wanted to learn more about them.
Anyway, I have checked with the AMA, the APA, and NARTH and have found the following. The AMA does NOT state that it is genetic or inborn. See the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons at http://www.jpands.org/vol10no3/lehrman.pdf
Also, NARTH, National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality (http://www.narth.com/docs/correctionletter2.html) has seemed to say basically the same thing. I am NOT trying to stir up problems, but can someone point me to the medical or scientific proof that I missed ?
