On trying to set up a multiple display, I can only see the display on the monitor connected to the VGA port. As far as the other monitor is concerned, it has been connected using a HDMI->VGA converting cable. Now my guess is that there's a small setting which I've skipped due to which the problem is being caused since I've checked that the monitor is working properly by connecting it to the VGA display & also, on connecting it through the HDMI->VGA converter, The Nvidia control panel shows that the monitor has been connected which in turn proves that the cable is working fine.

But even though when I select & apply the 'Extend onto this desktop' option, i get no display on the secondary monitor.

Additionally i'd like add that i'm using an MSI 9600GT graphics card which supports multiple monitors on a single card according to their website.

Except for the Graphics Card, everything is above the recommended requirements of the game and that too the graphics card is between the requirements and almost similar to the one specified in the recommended requirements but still on selecting optimal settings, the game selects the lowest possible settings. On manually configuring the settings, the frame would halt for 1 sec. after every 5 secs. So, is there anyway i can optimize/tweak XP or the game

to work properly & look real?
