  • Any way for a non-family member to know if someone did have a Will at the time they died?

A very close and trusted friend died recently. We had discussed Will's of one sort or another on many an occasion. He said many many times that he did. Along the way he started saying things like "that's our..." or " you get that when I'm gone."(I really don't care one little bit if he did or not) But within days his widow called and asked odd questions pertaining to a persons last wishes and when I asked when his will would be read, she said (emphatically) that he didn't have one.

Is there some way I can see if he did?

Not sure I will say/do anything if he did, just curious as to whether his wife is lying or not.

  • How to replace front shocks on '98 GMC 1500 C series Pickup truck?

I've replaced lots of shocks and struts in my lifetime. Have a special tool from K-D Tools that would work if the top nut wasn't so large, 5/8 vs 9/16 on the tool. Very little room to swing any kind of wrench. I'm hoping there is a special tool for GMC or a trick someone knows.

I Do Not Have a torch and there isn't enough room to get a sawsall into play.

I'm thinking of removing the wheel, fender skirt and upper control arm. Did try an air chisel but it is very slow going and makes too much noise for this time of night.

Surely there is a tool or trick for this.

  • Can you help us figure out what is wrong with this 2004 Hyundai Sonata?

It has the 2.4 liter 4cyl with 220k miles and automatic trans. Coil packs, plugs, wires and MAF sensor are recent.

Two weeks ago it would start fine, run to the store and maybe to another store, but then would not start. After the Tow truck came it started just fine. After 2 more similar outings my buddy turned it over to a mechanic/friend. He replaced the crank shaft sensor (3 times) the camshaft sensor (2-3 times) Checked every hose and wire from front to rear and finally today installed a new fuel pump. Somewhere along the line the engine has decided it will start first time all the time, but won't run for more than "2 minutes" before it shuts itself off.

We are at a loss for ideas.
