  • Find relationship between numbers?

I need a program which can find relationships between numbers.

I'm looking for a program that can find relationships between numbers like this:

    0133 05566

    1755 06375

    3862 15773

    7590 63811

    9088 98594

I feel like there exists a relationship between the 4 and 5 digit part of each number as well but not certain.

Anyhow, there is definitely a commonality between each 9 digit number

  • Stun gun no longer emitting shocks but rather what appears to be plasma. How is this possible?

I was playing around with my stun gun and began shocking the mouth of a plastic cola bottle and since then the beam between the terminals is a purple colour, emits a high pitched sound and can be bent by me blowing it, ie, when I blow on the beam, it bends. It also has a distinct smell which I remember smelling coming off my plasma ball. The beam burns through paper and plastic. I'm certain this is plasma. How is this possible and what must have happened that it only emits plasma now?

  • Excel help please, struggling with a formula?

I'm trying to create an excel sheet to add a certain number of days to the current date and return that value. The problem is however that I want it to only count business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

To start, I created 4 columns.

Column A contains all the days in the yearn in excel date format from A1 - A365

Column B contains the days of the week from B1 - B365

Column C contains a a simple yes or no depending on whether that day is a business day or not.

I know that to add normal days I type "=today() + x", x being the number of days to add.

I imagine I will need to create a variable which increments everytime it encounters a yes and then when the variable is equal to x, it must print that date.

I am just very lost at present.

How do I make it check through every date and its attached yes or no value and increment a variablel; and then print the current date when it reaches a certain number?

Or am I approaching this incorrectly?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  • firecrackers in tin can?

I put a lit firecracker into a beer can filled with water and the explosion tore the can open. I then repeated the experiment with 7 firecrackers and the explosion launched the can and water into the air but never tore open the can. instead the can was buckled into a septagon/heptagon with 7 distinct facets. how is this possible? how did 7 crackers do less damage than one?

  • TV out with Acer Aspire A110.?

I have a Acer Aspire A110 and the only display port it has is a VGA port. I want to buy a VGA-to-RCA converter but I'm not sure if it will support this, i.e. I don't know if it has a TV-out function through VGA (transmit and receive Y, Pr, Pb signals). I've tried looking through the manual but can't find anything of use.

  • VGA to RCA/s-video adapters?

I need some clarity on this issue. Keep it in layman's terms please. My laptop only has a VGA plug (No s-video) and my TV has RCA and s-video connectors. I know you can buy VGA-to-RCA and VGA-to-s-video adapters and cables but half the literature I see on the internet says that those plugs won't work because of a different signal type or whatever and the other half says it will work. I need some clarity. Does it only work in some instances? If so, what instances? I don't want to splurge on a cable which might not work. I need to know definitively that I'm not going to waste my money on a lemon.

Also, if you wouldn't mind, please explain to me all about VGA, s-video, RCA etc. Which is analogue, which digital and everything so that I'll understand once and for all.

    Thanks in advance...

  • Looking for the name of an old PC game.?

I apologise for this bad explanation but maybe someone in the same frame of mind will understand it

It was a turn-based strategy game where creatures would go up in levels as the fight. The would also morph, for example a giant would become a frost giant etc.

    Please help me out.

    Thanks

  • Can I daisy-chain two routers?

I have a couple routers at home which I used to use for internet. I'm having a LAN this weekend with myself and 4 others. Sadly, none of these routers support more than 4 connections. Is it possible to connect these two routers together to allow myself to connect more PCs. Is there a special way to do this or is it straightforward? Do I just connect the two routers with an ethernet cable and connect the PCs. I have a feeling it won't work because routers are gateways and I think these two have different addresses or maybe I'm just confuded. Any help would be greatly appreciated

  • Is it possible to create a form on a free website?

I would like to create a form on a freely hosted website of mine. How would I go about this. I've tried the whole mailto:name@domain.com thing but I know this could discourage people from sending a message through my form if they don't have a mail program installed. What is the proper way to do it without just "mailto" and would this work on a free site

  • Is it at all possible for software to damage hardware?

I recently upgraded my PC with some new RAM and installed GTA IV. It worked on and off but eventually I got some harsh sounding errors from the game after which my new RAM became faulty.

I was informed by a friend that the game could have corrupted the firmware of the RAM.

Is this really possible that software can do that to hardware?
