I have begun making some of my own hair sticks, which are basically decorative sticks used to hold up buns and other updos. I found that some people (including a retailer) are interested in buying them since no one sells them locally. My method of painting and finishing is very time consuming and low quality (not a project I want attached to my name in the long run). I'm looking to get a gloss finish that is inexpensive, nontoxic when dry, and safe to put on an item that will be in someones hair.

For my previous sticks I've used clear nailpolish and I've tried Decoart triple thick glaze gloss with some success. What other things could I try that may get me a smooth glassy/ shiny finish?

I was getting ready to go to bed and I heard a car door close twice outside. It was at 11:30 so I was curious. Our only neighbor on the road is a doctor office(closed), a cow pasture across the street, and a culdesac behind us. The road has no shoulder and is relatively busy, but we aren't far from a gas station and other more "public" places. We have 2 driveways which are obviously both ours. It took me less than 3 minutes to go outside and see what was going on and find an empty white pickup truck on our gravel driveway facing the road. I didn't get close, but I could tell no one was around.

It really concerns me to have a strange car parked in our drive. They aren't blocking our exit, but they are on our property. I can only think that two cars pulled in and the driver parked the car got in the other and left since I didn't see anyone in any direction.

What are my rights in regard to this car? Should I call the police? I really don't feel comfortable going out by myself (even to get a plate number), but I don't feel very safe since the house is a bit secluded.

I had a dream one night that I had a daughter with my current boyfriend. In the dream I named her Danye (Dawn-yay). He thinks it sounds strange and kind of ethnic. I think it's a beautiful name.

So what are your thoughts on Danye? And if you think of one, what middle name would fit well?

Is there any type of birth control where you don't get a period while you are taking it?

I also want to be able to have children later in life, I just hate having a period and want to stop it without harming my chances of having a baby in the future.

I'm not asking about people who miss pills, but the ones who take them almost clinically. I know the chances are low, but there are still chances and I was interested in figuring out what they were.

So the question is: How many women get pregnant while taking the pill regularly/correctly?

My boyfriend and I have been together for quite a long time now and we do have sex. We used condoms until I completed my first month on B.C. that I have now been on for about seven months. I take my pills as soon as I wake up in the morning, there have been a few times where I've been a few hours late, but I've never missed a pill. The past few weeks I've had dizzy spells and today I nearly fainted at work. I think my chances of pregnancy are extremely low, but I was wondering if I should go ahead and buy a test. My period is due next week, but we were talking about what we would do if I got pregnant yesterday and I'm a bit paranoid.

Long story short, should I buy a test (if yes which one), or just wait it out?

I think there are small critters in the wall behind my bathroom. They make a lot of chattering noises. I don't know what they are, but they probably got into the crawl space through the vents. The vents have a grated cover, so I don't know how exactly they got in. What is the best way to get rid of small critters in your wall?

I was feeling really emotional earlier today without much reason and my boyfriend was holding me tight trying to make me feel better and then he kissed me and I saw a bright green color. There wasn't anything green in the room and this has never happened to me before. After that almost every time he kissed me I saw the same color.

He has been doing tai-chi for a number of months and working with chi flow, so I'm wondering if this was synesthesia or if maybe I was just sensitive to his chi or aura.

I apologize if this is the wrong place, but I wasn't sure where else to put it...

I'm in college and my first real serious relationship, and my boyfriend and I have had a few discussions about shaved legs. I have never shaved them and the hair is hardly noticeable unless you are looking for it. He seems worried that someone will see/find out and say things. I can handle that, and I've told him I don't plan on shaving. I don't have the time or patience to do it often enough.

So my question is: Do you think it's gross, unattractive, or does it really matter to you? Why does it matter if you can't tell!?
