Currently taking a class called financial derivatives and have a question regarding creating a hedging strategy for forex. If I were a Japanese company exporting to the U.S. Would this be the optimal hedging strategy to use against foreign exchange risk? "Enter into a long position on the USD and enter into a short position on the Japanese yen" or am I missing something?

- invest and save a good chunk of it

- move out

- get a BMW M6 and a Bentley continental GT SS

- pay off both parents mortgages

- get a yacht

- buy a $10 million dollar condo in Vancouver, BC

- buy a Rolls Royce for the condo

I'm working on a paper about Ebola and one of my points to improve prevention instead of just containing the virus was about the possibility to spread and the the use of bio weapons/ terrorism.

I know that Iran, china, and north Korea could make biological weapons, but any other hostile nations that I'm missing or terrorist nations that could make them?

I would think Yes and no. No because of the law of conservation of mass and energy, but yes in the instances of the extinction of species.(that strand of DNA, etc) Would this be correct or am I off on something?

*note, before I get attacked by the internet, environmental science is not my field of study and I'm just trying to come up with a good answer for that question for my online class haha*
