  • Are you surprised that these names are unisex? (part 1)?

Now, I know most of you know Addison or Taylor as a unisex name. But are you surprised that these names below are unisex?

Aria- this name is mostly dominated by girls, but it is actually a unisex name meaning "lion".

Austin- you might have thought that this is a boy's name because of Austin, Texas, but some people actually use the spelling, Austen for girls.

Brennan- though this is mostly used by boys, Brennan is usable for girls. The meaning is "teardrop".

Brogan- like Logan, this name is unisex, although it may sound too gruff for girls.

Campbell- you might have thought this was a last name, but it is a unisex first name too that means "crooked nose".

Camille- this name has a feminine spelling, yet this name is for both boys and girls.

Cassidy- another name usually used on girls, it can be used on boys too, with the meaning "curly".

Christian- although this name does have a female equivalent, Christian can be used girls.

Cody- a name mostly meant for boys, people can use Codie for a girl.

Cruz- this might know this name because of its use on one of David Beckham's sons, but this foreign name is available for girls too.

Dana- with the "A" at the end, it may sound feminine, but this name is completely unisex.

Dixie- mostly used as a nickname for girls, this is a unisex full name.

Drew- with the meaning "man warrior", this name may sound masculine to you, but it is used on girls too.

Eden- though you might hear this name on a lot of girls, boys can have this name too.

Esme- you might recognize this name from Twilight as a girls name, but this French name is used on boys.

Freddie- this name is mostly a nickname for boys, but it can be used as a full name for both genders.

Hunter- with it's masculine sound, females sometimes have this name.

Iona- most people love it's exotic feel as a girl's name, yet might have negative comments as a boy's name. This name is unisex.

Israel- you probably think this is not a name at all, but Israel is actually a unisex name.

Izzy- a nickname mostly used for the girl name, Isabelle, Izzy can be used for boys also.

So, do you like the names overall? Would you ever use these names on either gender?

BQ- Which name on the list do you think is the most realistic for females AND males?
