I saw the news and heard that someone was killed in a shooting. I later found out that the person is one of my closest friends. I've held it in but when people confronted me I just started crying. I can't seem to get over his death, What can I do?

My girlfriends family are members of the Oglala Sioux tribe or something like that and I was wondering what their marriage traditions are since I might pop the question. I don't want to ask her family or anything because word may get around and I want to surprise her.

So my parents pretty much hate me, I don't speak their native language, I speak english only and I don't agree with their views and beliefs, I don't eat what they eat and they pretty much want to control my lifestyle.

I don't eat the food from our culture, I do not want to become a doctor or lawyer. I want to be a part of marketing in business. They want me to marry a girl from our culture and they want her to be a lawyer or doctor. They expect me to go to this university thats close to my house but I want to attend University of Southern California which is FAR from where I am now. I really can't stand it with my parents, they expect me to do so much and they treat me like crap. Just because I was an "Average" student in school with B's and C's with maybe one D they expected all A's so they forced me to provide for myself in terms of cell phone, clothes and occasionally food. I work and I'm close to graduating high school but they suddenly had this urge to tell me that they have to live with me because its part of their culture for the oldest son to care for his parents but I'm not cool with that. I want them to be respect my wishes and let me do what I want, they think that other people are stupid for allowing their kids to do their own thing while they live in a house of their own. They don't like my girlfriend because shes not Asian, shes Native American and they mistaken her for being Latino which makes them hate her even more because they believe everything they hear from other people(stereotypes) They pretty much disregard everything I tell them and they always explode over everything. I constantly have to argue with them because they always bring up some random stuff just to piss me off and I'm not the type to just sit there and listen to them talking bad about me or what I do. They will always threaten to kick me out for really doing nothing, they would call my relatives and make up some BS story to make me look bad and they all bought it so I pretty much have a friendly relationship with just my friends and some other important adults in my life. I just want to do my own thing without them bothering and I'm on the brink of choosing to completely cut them out of my life once I get my ish together. I don't want anymore problems I just want them to hear me out and not lose their heads to what I will eventually have to say.

Theres this girl that I met, shes really beautiful and funny, I feel this strange attraction to her like no other, Ive dated other girls but she feels different like I really want to be with her. Shes a sophomore and I'm a senior but our age gap is not high at all, im about 1 year older. Theres rumors going around that she swings the other way but she flirts with me and all that and I don't want to ask her and she gets all mad ( I'm a guy btw). Theres also a rumor shes got feelings towards me. Usually I do the flirting and getting friendly and such but around her I feel so shy and can't think of what to say ( think of the song suffocate) help me love doctors!!

I'm so close to buying an iPhone 4 but all these rumors are going around of the next iPhone which is an improved version of iPhone 4 with a bigger screen. I don't want to buy the iPhone 4 and then like the next week the new iPhone comes out. It will be a repeat of when I bought my 40GB PS3 for 299 and then the very next day 80GB PS3 replaced the 40GB with the same price. Another question is why on earth did AT&T remove unlimited data for future customers? Honestly the 2GB a month for $20 is not enough for me, its a total BS for customers that would be willing to pay that extra 10 for unlimited.

I'm in the middle of my 2 year contract and I've had a Sony Xperia and HTC Aria, Currently I have the Samsung Captivate but as of recently I've been getting bored of using androids and I see this guy on craigslist willing to trade his iPhone 4 for my Captivate. I know that the iPhone uses microsim but where and how do I get that? Does that AT&T store charge for this?

Every store that I look at says you must have a minimum of at least 6 months to 1 year of experience so I look at another place and more simple position such as stock and I now need at least 6 months of experience. any heads up for my job search? I'm a high school senior btw.

I was wondering if Best buy would hire me as a Sales Associate. My qualifications are,

I'm 17 and know tons about video games, different types of TVs and what makes each one different from the other. I know a little more than basic stuff on PCs.

I'm involved in some activities outside of school. I can lift up to 200 pounds and I've been a part of DECA so I know what to expect in the business world and they've prepared me by making me dress professionally and how to handle customers appropriately during any given situation.

Is it all out in the open? I'm ok with the open showers because its super quick and I know you will NOT have time to look around but whenever someone lays their eyes on me when I'm doing my business, I get really hostile.I get really uncomfortable when I'm doing my thing and I've gotten into bad fights with the dumb people multiple times at my school who would peep in between the door. Serious question. Its true but I can't stop laughing at myself over asking this question about taking a dump. Answer if you know what you're talking about please.

I was playing this thing called Playstation Home on my PS3 and I was wondering if it would actually be a good idea to create a place in real life modeled after the Central Plaza, Mall and the Arcade place or w/e its called and have luxurious condos. Obviously I can't do it now with all this money problem that the entire world seems to be going though but I hope to achieve this dream some day. It may seem dumb to some of you that I was inspired to even think about creating a place from a video game but if you look and try it for once and just look at the surroundings, it looks like a beautiful peaceful place that I'm sure many people will love. Hopefully one day I can present this idea to investors and put this dream into motion. What do you people think?

How are you assigned weapons? I know some servicemen are given M16 and others are given M4.

Do they just randomly assign them to you or what? And what about attachments?

Also in my uncles pictures he has different body armor than other soldiers standing in the background.

Are they also given different armor?

Last question is how are you assigned to different units in the military? EX. Will you be placed in an airborne unit just because you completed the requirements?

I googled these questions and they gave me a bunch of BS answers and things irrelevant to what I'm asking. Please don't give me any Call of Duty BS.

I had this weird kid in my class that would do the dumbest things ever. He has a six pack and hella muscles but he says he never works out and that he was born naturally strong. And he accidentally stabbed himself in his left arm but he had no reaction claiming that he couldn't feel pain in that arm. He is actually a really short kid and he eats massive amounts of candy but never seems to get fat and he lives close to me and all he does is play his video games and never works out. Is it possible to just get strong all of a sudden and not feel pain due to something different in his genes?

I'm a high school senior and I've been taking a class and we have been learning about how to obtain jobs and manage a small business. We haven't actually discussed how to open up our own. My dream is to open up a large building where you can pretty much do anything. A large open gym with a large pool in the middle, huge lobby, dining area, fountain in the front and an area with video games, and floors where businesses can rent out and use the office for whatever they want, pretty much one of those nice brand new modern buildings that you usually see in movies and of course people will be charged to come. That was one of my assignments and I kinda want to make this come true sometime in the future. How would I actually start? When I go to college I'm going to study Marketing and Public Relations, will that help me at all? I Googled question and it just gave me a bunch of BS answers. It may seem like an impossible dream but I'm willing to try. Please answer if you know what your talking about and no smart comments please.

I bench press 65lbs 30 times a day, I jog around my block 2 times,do 100 jumping jacks, I do these legs things 50 times and they with about 50 pounds, I do 20 situps and do 20 push ups. How much would I lose in a month. I was fit but I've gotten lazy and I'm starting to get fat. I don't drink soda or sports drinks don't eat foods that are greasy and no candy though I chew gum every day.

I'm watching this show on CNN called "Selling the Girl Next Door" and I looked at the website Backpage and I see all these beautiful young teenagers and it kinda hits my hearts to see that they've turned to drugs and sex when they have so much potential. They could do more in life but instead they turn to all this. I did a school essay about this kind of content so I looked at the website to get info and I see these teens that advertise as 22-29 and they look like their 17. Why do they turn to this? If they're forced to by these guys then why can't they just run away? When I looked at my city I see some teens that look like people that I swear I've seen before and are around my age. I understand that sex feels very good but is it so much to them that they rely on it solely for money? What are your opinions on this situation? Why can't the government shut down these sites that allow people to advertise this stuff?

How are the bathrooms? Would someone else see you taking a dump? Are the DI's in your face 24/7?

I know the DI's only treat you the way you do to expose you to stress and try to change you from a civilian into a marine but what is it like after graduation? Are they super chill with you? I have an uncle who is in the marines but he won't tell me anything, he just tells me to join the Marines and see for myself. I'm fine with joining any branch of the military but I'm kind of leaning towards the marines because of their dress blues. I know it may be stupid for some of you but to me and many others I think the dress blues is well worth it. What is the training environment like because I'm extremely terrified of spiders and kinda don't want to be near them, I don't know why but I've always been terrified of them.

Today, While I was playing basketball, some dude down the street from me shot me in the butt with a paintball gun so I punched him straight in the forehead. Now my right hand hurts super bad, Should I get it checked out at the hospital? I hurt my hand before in the summer by punching the wall and it got better after a month but I got school now so should I get like a cast or something? I heard that the spot where I punched the guy was the hardest spot on a human head,

How are other people treated if they go to another branches training or program?

Example a marine attending Airborne school?

Are they looked at differently or looked upon like every other person attending the training?

Is it nearly the same as Basic Training? Do you eat and sleep like you did in BT?

Just curious about things because a lot of recruiters have been coming to my school lately and if I ask them, they would talk for a SUPER long time and when they do come, I always have to leave for work.

Do the Marine Corps have a dedicated airborne unit?

It was these guys that were hanging out and 1 of the guy decides to relieve himself on somebodies grave, then some ghost or zombie guy comes out of the ground and grabs his precious. The other guy(s) run away in a car and the guy seems to appear out of nowhere on the back window and kills them. WHAT MOVIE OR SHOW IS THIS??? I'm trying to figure out all these shows that I watched as a kid.
