I am currently designing a coputer i am building. I am confused on one thing. I want to buy a NVIDIA geforce 640 with a AMD A6 processor. Can the intergrated chip and the geforce run in unison?

I don't care for spec, as long as they are x86 or ia 32 etc. can i find them commonly for like £10 to maybe £30. Like a thrift store. On the side, can you take them out of a junk yard or recycling centre?

Things that have no real logical grounding like "how to become a vampire" and relationship advice(not that it is illogical, its just that how the heck are we supposed to know that, its not like we know everybody personally) etc. are people really that desperate for attention? Does anybody else agree with me?

I have done programming very informally for the last few years and have recently started to learn it seriously. Other than Games and Operating Systems, are there any other interesting things that one can program. I know i could write things for business, but that is boring and this is strictly a hobby.

I am planning on doing a lets play. I have read a lot on the internet and it seems fine. However, a big part of the game is its soundtrack, and i am not planning on turning it off. Is this legal?

Hello, i have seen numerous people building computers out of the old Zilog z80 and MOS tech 6502/6509. I have some knowledge of assembly code of the z80(which isn't ample), basic electrics such as cathode and anode for logic circuits, very basic things like that. I realise i am not even close to this. In terms of what i want to build i want it to take I/O through machine code via 16 switches for the characters 1 through F. Maybe something more complex later. Output will be seen via 8 LEDs (binary up to 256) as the basic output first.

I have a computer that has no internet connections and is a linux pc(used primarily for programming because of the lack of distractions). However i need some software. Is it possible to simply go on the repository on an internet connected computer and simply run the .debs on the other computer like a .exe on windows?

I am trying to learn programming for applications but i cannot seem to coordinate myself into doing it. I do enjoy it, and i have the time. How should i go about devoting more than an hour per day to it an MAINTAIN that level of focus for an extended period of time? I realise this sort if thing comes from within you but a push in the right direction wouldn't go amiss.

Just to let you know, i am learning ARM assembly and python and have prior programming experience.

Hi i took 7 online iq tests as an adult and got an average of 131, with anomalous data removed via the 5% rule. My highest non anomalous score was 144 while my lowest was 102. I realise how unreliable these tests are which is why i did all the checking. Please bear in mind i am a late developing 14 year old and i am taking these as a 20 year old(if this is any concellation).

What i wanted to know with regard to this data is if this is a Phd level of intellect if an iq of 110 is a regular Bsc(not ba). I also have an equivalent grade point(us) of about 3.9.

My computers totally ignoring it, checked boot routine, no dvd. Its on a dvd, i know it is stupid but i thought the computer could detect both with cd. I really want ubuntu, but it is too big for a cd. Anything i can do with the bios?

I really don't care how long it takes before i am ready to learn a graphics library, however i do require the following things

1: speed, so will run on old computer circa 2000 onward

2: platform combatability, preferably windows 98 onward, and linux

3: ease of use after learning, so i dont have to keep reading through code samples as much

Been programming for a while, and i would like to do game programming. I have toyed around with basic concepts in c++ (nothing

like functions structures etc.) and i dislike game making programs because they take the fun out of it. What should i do?

This means he will not go to the schools with the highest grades. I know some skills, should i teach them to him now?

i do not want a web language, and c++ is out of the question(i have done it for a long time and it has been torture, will revisit). What i am looking for is a language that can do 2d graphics with computers that are very old(win 95 onward) and have the ability to use low level sockets for servers etc. In an ideal world i would also like it to be quite small and be transferable to other languages(in terms of skills learned). I don't mind if the above language needs a library for the 2d graphics and networking however.
