On my upcoming trip in June, I have a twelve hour layover in Denver on the way to my destination, and an eight hour layover in Seattle on the way back. I was wondering if ye citizens of the internet could tell me some fun things to do if I'm travelling alone, on a budget, and have no car. Thanks!

I am a housekeeper at a smallish hotel, and my manager clocked the housekeepers out today before we had finished working. He did not ask our permission or inform us. (We were informed by the inspector after it happened.) A similar thing happened a week or two ago, when one other housekeeper and myself were clocked out by an inspector before we had even finished our rooms. Given that I am currently still in the 6 month probationary period from my starting date, if I bring this up, he will likely fire me since he doesn't have to have any justification whatsoever as per the rules of the probationary period. Also, since I'm not sure I have any way to prove this is happening, would it be wise to call the local Labor Union? Advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
