Ever since I was young, I've wanted to sing. I'm going into my sophomore year soon and I want to know what classes I should be taking in my high school career. I want to study at University of Souther California to major in music and I was wondering what classes should I take in high school so I look good to the school and get accepted. So what classes would be helpful? I honestly don't know a thing about applying to colleges.

Singing is my dream! I haven't had any training or lessons yet. A lot of my friends say I have a strong, powerful, and nice voice, but at the same time it sounds like restrained, I'm struggle, or I'm holding my breath as I'm singing. Does anyone else know what I mean here? It's really hard to describe :l If anyone has an idea what it's called and if you can be trained to fix this, please answer! :D
