  • Did Hitler personally hate the Jews?

I was wondering about this and it seems that Hitler only eliminated the Jews for political means and not out of any personal hatred. I mean he wasn't described as sadistic and he never personally visited any of the concentration camps, so I was thinking that he only took advantage of the fact that they were an easy scapegoat ad formed his philosophy from there. Don't get me wrong, he was still an evil man who was responsible for the deaths of millions but I was just thinking that his motivation was different. Thoughts?

  • Can I run Battlefield 3 with these specs?

I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro with windows 7 installed and these specs:

Processor 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

If I can't with these current options, what will it take to get to run?

  • What is the best SOF unit for me?

I know I want to be special operations and I think I'm up for the challenge. I know I'm going to join the military straight out of college as an officer and so which SOF unit would be the best? Which can I join with the least layover time, most spots etc.. I don't want a desk job, I want to fight and kick in doors so something like Psy ops or EOD isn't really for me. I don't care about physical reqs. because I'm in great shape and pretty tough but I want to be SOF straight out of basic, if possible but I wouldnt really want to wait more than a year because I really want to get going. So basically which SOF unit has the most combat slots for officers, least experience requirements and most likey to see combat?

  • Which SOF unit is the easiest and which is the hardest? Officers?

I got into this argument with my friend and I said SEAL training was the hardest but he said Pararescue was higher due to a higher dropout rate but SEALs has more difficult physical selection requirements and the fact that more people know about SEALs and therefore more people will go to SEALs giving them a larger pool to draw from. It seems that Air Force is the easiest because I know that Army is pretty difficult. Also what about Officer Courses? I know you have to go above and beyond but how much for each? I ******* KNOW ALREADY THAT ANY ONE IS DIFFICULT AND YOU DON'T JOIN TO CUT CORNERS,BUT IS IT TO DIFFICULT TO ASK TO SEE THEM COMPARED?

  • How is Obama a Soviet Socialist?

Please elaborate on how he is not a western-European democratic-socialist and instead is a Marxist-Leninist. He has not done anything to take away guns, and Obamacare is western democratic-socialism which has been proven more effective then our current system. Countries with similar styles of haelthcare have an average lifespan 3-5 years longer then ours. I would be willing to pay a small increase in taxes (which is all it is) to live a few more years. Democratic socialism does not have the flaws our current system does and provides people with more amenities and the same anount of individual freedom. What has he done to move us to a Soviet style state?

  • Why do Republicans claim Europe is "belly up"?

I just wanna know since the stantard of living is higher in those countries, they get better, cheaper healthcare, better public education and the average lifespan is longer? Also their economy is in better shape then ours. How is that "belly up" since they claim Obama is trying to make us like Eurpoe? I wish the US was more like Europe.

  • Is the SAS better than Delta Force?

I would think that Delta would be better merely because we have a pool of people about 100 times larger to draw from, the fact that Delta has a bigger budget then the entire British military, and the prevailing survivalist and shooting culture allows for better tequnique and training. We have the top 5 private shooting schools in the world which Delta operators can go to, and have been involved in more modern day conflicts then Britan. I know the SAS is about 30-50 years older, but combat has changed a lot since then and we have more money to experiment with and train. The fact that the SAS rescued the hostages in London in a similar situation to what happened to us in Iran is a moot point as there were 6 British hostages and 380 American hostages. Also their incident took place 160 miles from Hereford and ours took place 3000 miles from Ft.Bragg. We failed due to lack of training in the Navy pilots part and a sandstorm, not Delta Operator error. The selection process requires the same level of physical toughness so don't use that either, because my dad went through delta and ranger school and one of his SAS friends said that SAS selection was only slightly more difficult than ranger school. Delta also goes through a more difficult selection after ranger school too. I want to see if anyone has any points I overlooked that would make either side look better or worse.

  • How to get into JTF2?

I was wondering, since I have done a lot of research on American SOF forces lately, but out of curiosity, is it as difficult, more difficult, and is infantry the best way to start out like in the US? Also are there any tier 2 units like Rangers or SEALs in Canada or is there just regular mil and JTF2?

  • Am I on track to pass the physical part of SFAS?

I am only 15 but I can do 2 mi running in 15:00, 60 pushups perfectly without stopping and 67 situps without stopping. I can do 13 pull ups without dropping off the bar. Is that the right pace or should I work harder? I run 2mi every day and do 200 pushups and situps and 40 pull ups. Is that good? I dont have hair under my arms yet though if that makes a difference and don't shave.

  • How hard is Ranger School?

I wanna know how hard it really is. My dad it and when I asked him he told me: "If you can do it, it's no different than any other backpacking trip." "I was also the only time I got poison ivy". Wha? I can't find good dropout rates anywhere, I'm in pretty good shape and only 15 so I think I can do it but I would like more information on it and the Army's website isn't much help.

  • What is Army SF Officer training like?

I've looked on the Army's website and it says (my interpretation) SF Training-MOS training+ Ranger School. I know Airborne tab and being either O2 or O3 are also required, but is there anything else? And do I HAVE to go through Ranger School? My dad did it, said it was the only time he ever got poison ivy, and he is practically immune to it. I am pretty sensitive to it, but I could still do it and probably will anyways, but if I didn't HAVE to it would be a huge relief to me.

  • Anything else I can do to prep for SOF?

It has been my dream since I was a little boy to be an elite commando and I have worked hard at it but I wanna make sure I ABSOLUTELY get in an SOF position. I am currently 15 and can pass most PT requirements already as I have been working out almost obsseviely all summer so being in shape isn't a problem. I am an extroverted, type A personality but I have ADHD and have been working hard to overcome it. My doc says I could be off my meds in two years so would that prevent me from being in the military? I also want to know if going to college is a good idea or should I enlist straight out of high school? Also my eyesight is 20/30 in 1 eye but 20/15 in the other, and you need 20/20 in both to be a green beret. Is there a waiver I could get?
