  • I have a '93 Chevy Beretta V6 that recently developed an engine knock and intermittent loss of power.?

    Loss of power is on one or more cylinders, and can usually be resolved by letting off the gas and then getting on it maybe 2/3 of the way. A mechanic buddy listened to it & said it seems like the heads are going bad. I only need the car to last a few months. Can anyone suggest an inexpensive fix? Thanks in advance.

  • Why do YouTube videos skip so much?

    Whenever I watch vids on YouTube, they constantly freeze for a second or two several times throughout the video. It's not always in the same place; if I wind back, I can usually get through the first "freeze point" fine; then it does it again. It's not because of a buffering pause; the progress bar can be way ahead of the view-point when it does it. It even happens if I wait for the progress bar to fully load before I watch.

    PS: I usually have at least 3 Firefox windows up, as well as Yahoo IM. I never tried it with ONLY YouTube up.
