I recently purchased an r7 260x 1GB GDDR5 OC edition card and my settings stayed the same since I had intergrated graphics game/intergrated fps/ 260x???? fps

TF2/45/110

Minecraft/35/60 (someone with a MUCH weaker gpu and a lower end cpu got a load more fps)???

L4D2/40/60

Hexxit(moded minecraft)/60/65

and Tactical Intervention which I will no longer play/30/42

I don't understand why my fps are not so dramatic increases

specs

i3-3220 3.3Ghz

6GB DDR3 1333mhz

r7 260x 1GB GDDR5 OC

and just a standard hard drive

motherboard is cheap but has features like sata 6GB/s and USB 3.0

I installed the drivers from the disk and when I decided to check windows for an update I got nothing!

I run all games at 1080p

I just installed a gigabyte 260x OC edition card and now I am missing a good inch of the sides and a good cm on the top and bottom how do i fix this at 1080p?

R7 260x 1GB GDDR5 -Core Clock: 1188 MHz - Memory Clock: 6000 MHz $120 or

r7 250 2GB GDDR5 - Core Clock: 1100 MHz -Memory clock 4600MHz $100

I am currently looking at the gt 610 1GB that's is $30 after rebate. I want to play games at 1080p and record with bandicam. would this be a good choice for my price range? I want to use this until I can rack enough up to build a $1000 rig. This is not for extreme gaming on extreme settings!

i currently have an i3-3220 system with 6GB and I'm wondering if it will bottleneck a R9 270X. either I just upgrade the card or ill just build a whole new system with an AMD cpu 8 core. Will it bottle neck it and how much more would the amd cpu with 8GB give me in terms of gaming?
