Can the fuel pump of modern cars be serviced or is a replacement a better idea?
WagonR 2000 model, engine cuts off after erratic idle and sometimes when in motion too. Jerks while accelerating without rhyme or reason. Tried the usual maintenance routine. Now only the fuel pump remains.

Since I have a conventional stereo setup with good vintage tape decks, I wish to utilize the same. I would like to know how to make quality recordings using my LG laptop as a source. I tried using the earphone jack but that creates a lot of background hum.

2 AnswersCar Audio10 years agoIf my gall bladder in inflamed is there no other remedy other than removal?
A fortnight ago I suffered from an attack of mild to severe pain in the chest region just below the heart. Mistaking it to be the beginnings of a heart attach, I rushed to a care centre and asked them to relieve the pain. They conducted tests for the heart but found the same OK. Later I suggested that they check the gall bladder as a couple of family members have had it removed. A sonography later it was confirmed that it was indeed the gall bladder which was inflamed and affecting the whole region. After 7 days in the hospital, the pain subsided and was sent home.
Now they have suggested removal of the gall bladder after my abdomen returns to normal.
My question is, is this surgery necessary, or is there real danger of a repeat in the attack. Your experienced views please!

There was some abscess formation on the gum side but this was dried up when the tooth was treated for root canal treatment. However a subsequent x-ray showed the fracture in part of the tooth. Since there is no pain now and gum line has healed, it is OK to just fill it up and cap it ?
