  • What are the lyrics to the Western Union commercial?

It's the commercial with a guy playing a guitar while sitting on his bed. The first part goes, "Thank you Aunt Sarah for sending money from afar..." What comes next? I can't understand what he says!

  • Recipe for Kona Grill's pork fried rice?

My fiance and I are in love with the pork fried rice from Kona Grill, but I can't find a recipe that looks even remotely similar to it. The rice used in the recipe is unusually soft, chewy, and sticky. I've wondered if it isn't sushi rice. Not only is the texture of the rice unique, but it's full of surprise ingredients... bean sprouts, peanuts, shrimp, and pineapple. Does anyone have the recipe, or something similar? I can't figure out how to duplicate the wonderful chewy rice texture of Kona's.

  • I can't figure out this song from Cancun!?

While on vacation in Cancun a couple weeks ago, we heard one song on an almost daily basis. It was a type of up-tempo dance song with all Spanish lyrics, and several times during our stay all of the hotel staff would gather and dance to it. Unfortunately, I couldn't catch any of the lyrics other than "Si si si... No no no." I've Googled several different ways and here's all I can figure out:

    It is NOT by Vallanzaska.

It is NOT "Que si que no."

It is NOT "No, no, no" by Thalía.

Does anyone know what this song is, and where I might be able to download it? Thanks!

  • How do you choose a Maid of Honor?

Recently my sister made a comment about her being Maid of Honor. I had never mentioned this to her, nor had I planned on her being my MoH. After a pause, she said, “I am your MoH, right?” I tried to laugh it off, saying that I hadn’t really given the wedding party much thought yet. She got VERY upset, claiming I shouldn’t even have to think about it, that she should automatically be my MoH. She said I’d be her MoH (even though she has a friend who she’s obsessively close to). I was very taken aback so I tried to change the subject, but I can tell she’s still upset with me about it.

So, are there guidelines for choosing a MoH? I’ve known plenty of people who chose a close friend over a sibling (including my own mom). I had always assumed your MoH was who you were closest to, regardless of their relation to you. Obviously, my sister thinks she should come first. So what do I do: What makes me happy (roommate is MoH), or what makes my sister happy (sister is MoH)?

  • What can I do about my dying rubber plant?

I think my rubber plant is dying. What can I do for it?

I've had a rubber plant, about 2 feet high, for over a year. It looked beautiful when I got it. Over the first couple months, quite a few of the bottom leaves became yellow and dropped off. I did some research and realized I'd been over-watering it. I cut back on water and it stopped losing leaves. I went away over Christmas break and came back to find it looking very droopy, with more leaves having fallen off. I watered it.

As of now, all the leaves are healthy and green. I dust it every few weeks. New leaves are growing at the top only. However, it looks PATHETIC now, with leaves only on the top 1/4th of its branches. Will the bottom leaves grow back? I was wondering... Can I cut the branches way back, like you do with mums and some other flowers? I thought I could cut it down and start all over, and maybe the branches would regrow with leaves all over so it would be nice and full and pretty again. Is there anything I can do?

  • Can you make your own reed diffuser?

Because I am not allowed to burn candles in my apartment, I have found reed fragrance diffusers to be a wonderful alternative. They emit even more scent than candles and work for a very long time, and I love having one in my living room and bedroom. However, they're fairly expensive, and I wondered if I could create my own.

I have noticed you can buy concentrated liquid fragrance at Walmart for only a couple of dollars. If I bought some regular bamboo skewers and stuck them in a narrow-neck vase filled with some of this concentrated liquid fragrance, would it work as well as a real, more expensive reed diffuser? If this doesn't work, does anyone know of any other ways to make reed diffusers yourself? Or maybe someone knows of a place to buy cheap reed diffusers? Thanks for any suggestions!

  • Which breed of dog is best for me (experienced owners, please)?

    Here's what I want in a dog:

--intelligent and easy to train (I'd like to have her become a therapy dog)

    --low-shedding and low grooming needs

--good with kids and other pets

--cuddly and affectionate but not clingy (I will be working, so it will be alone for about 6 hours a day)

--playful but not hyper (I don't want a high-energy dog that requires long daily walks, and I will not be living in a big house)

I think I'd prefer a smaller dog, but I'm pretty much open to any size.

Here's what breeds I'm researching: boxers, German shepherds, corgis, pugs, French bulldogs, and Boston terriers. I grew up with a corgi so I know some about them. I worry about pugs and Frenchies being to clingy (plus their breathing problems), the Bostons and boxers being too hyper, and the shepherds and pugs shedding too much. I've done tons of research on all these breeds, but I'm getting really conflicting information on their energy levels and care requirements.

  • What can I do with a degree in elementary education besides teach?

I'll soon be graduating with a bachelor's degree in elementary education, but I no longer have the desire to teach elementary school.

I hate the prospect of being so restricted by state standards and school district regulations. I can't help my students in areas they are struggling with, simply because the school and government require so many other things. I don't want to spend the school year focusing on what the students need to know to pass a test to make the school look better. I also dread being up to my ears in lesson plans, and having to juggle curriculum and classroom management.

Still, I'd love to work with children. I volunteer with a animal welfare group, in which I visit schools to teach kids about different kind of animals. I'd love to integrate teaching with animals and nature, but I kind of need a job that pays, not a volunteer job. I also love working with art and music.

  • My favorite childhood book, and I can't remember the title!?

When I was in 3rd or 4th grade, I read a chapter book I absolutely loved, but I can't find it anywhere. Here's what I remember about it:

It wasn't a Goosebumps book, but it was a similar style. I believe it may have been part of a "horror" series too, like a Goosebumps rip-off. This particular book was about a girl who somehow drank a bottle of pink liquid and turned into a golden retriever. She ends up in a pet store and is adopted by one of her bullying classmates. She spends the whole story trying to let the boy know she's not really a dog, but a girl. In the end, she turns back into a human, but the cliffhanger is that her friend ends up drinking the potion and turns into a dog as well!

  • Will a magnetic clasp on my digital camera's case harm the camera in any way?

I just got a new case for my camera to protect the fragile LCD screen, but now I'm concerned about it getting hurt by the case itself. The case has a very strong magnetic closure, and I'd hate for it to screw up the gears inside the camera. Will my camera be okay in it, or should I go for a case with a velcro, zipper, or snap closure instead?
