I'm going to be 40 weeks 3 days on Tuesday, and the dr wants to use cytotec to ripen my cervix first because I'm not dilated at all and have had no change in weeks (still 50 percent effaced). This is my first pregnancy, I've lost my mucus plug, been having BH for over a month, but still nothing. I've read some things online about cytotec causing problems when used for this purpose but when I asked her about it she laughed it off, said the other things used don't work as well, and told me to stay off Google. Are the risks just for people with prior uterine surgery? Any advice or personal experience with cytotec for this purpose would be appreciated because I don't know what to do.

I got a ticket for "failure to control speed so as to avoid collision" and when I went to court to fight it, the police officer didn't show up so they dismissed it without prejudice. They said that they can refile within a certain amount of time, but I don't know what that timespan is. I need more information on this ruling and the timespan. (I got the ticked in April).
